How To Change WordPress Admin Username

Sometimes, we came across a situation where we need to change WordPress admin username. WordPress itself does not allow to edit the username from the back-end.

There are 2 ways to change admin username. One way is through creating one more user with the role Administrator and another way is through phpMyAdmin.

In this video, we show you both ways to change admin username.

It is highly recommended you should take backup of your database before proceeding.
