this is the highest cpu you can get on the am4 mobos i hate the fact that i spent good money on a mobo and ddr4 mem 64 gigs all to have to change it if i want the 7950x3d and 128gig of ram. this sucks im pissed.

it was a beast but now its a outdated terribly, it costs too much and it is basically mediocre cpu even at productivity and in gaming at back rows only

I got this animal for a year ago and i use alot of cpu and absolutely no regrets. Would still buy it today. The thing is an absolute monster and has just a universal performance in everything. It has very low power consumption for its performance, monster gaming performance and an absolute savage in multicore considering its cost compared to high end server proccessors. For example 1 of this can destroy some low end threadrippers, epycs and mid range xeons. Imo this cpu is the best cpu of all time so far imo. This thing offers way more than it should for its price. This is like a threadripper. Should be at minimum 1200 dollar.

I really hate when people say "if you're a gamer, this is too much and too powerful for you". "You don't need this", it's whatever we want in our rigs. People say only need 16gb of ram, I have 32, why? Because I wanted it. I want head room. Also I'm not going to buy a CPU that just squeaks by in this generation only having to upgrade it in a year or two because I bought what "YOU" thought we should have VS. what I wanted. Good review, but I have this in my rig and wanted a GPU bottleneck instead of a CPU bottleneck. This works very well with my EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080Ti. Just my .02

The inability to run Windows 7 on this processor because of lack of motherboard drivers is really hindering the adopting of this processor at my company.
