The only snag I ran into using Debian 11. Snap wasn't recognized so I had to "sudo apt install snapd" to install snap and then this worked like a charm THANK YOU!

What pc/laptop do you have

Dont recommend people to install snaps. They work terribly in old systems with low ram and processor. I like to build the pycharm through terminal. It works more efficiently.
