Thanks for all you do in the mining community but I'm having issue get my hashrate going on hive os I'm trying to mine Nexa ir Dynex ..with my gpu mining rig..can't seem to figure it out Would you or anyone you know help me out. I spent the whole day trying to figure it out..would you recommend nice hash or another gpu mining site cause hive os too robust 4 me

Hey all and @thehobbyistminer - I use usb flash drives for my hiveos and some of my rigs keep going offline or disconnecting 1-3x a day sometimes. Should I switch to SSD to usb or SSD to sata 3? Is that why I keep getting drops?

This process is actually really easy but hiveos have horrible instructions on how to do it, Not to mention they have like 3 different ways to do it just for gpu rigs for some reasons

Do I have to have an ssd in my rig to run hive os or something? Been following an old build video but I can't get hive to install on my rig.

My ssd shows up as "disk 2, 111,79 gb, unallocated" with no option to change letter. It is as hiveos wasnt installed even though I burned the img to the ssd with balena. Its not even named "hive" after burning it. Only the option "new simple volume" when I right click it. After I press new simple volume it's still named just "F" and no hive, cant access it without formatting it. Any thoughts? thx

Hive os has just increased the minimum payout from .01 to .02

dude you saved my rig with the ssd part, there's no other people showing how to do this with hive's new setup and my eth rig's been down for 2 days because the flash drive died, I got an ssd, and I couldn't figure out how to do it now for the life of me

Can you run hiveos in a virtual machine and mining while you work con windows? more detail, windows will use embedded GPU in CPU chip, mining will use 2 GPUs.

when i install hive os in USB drive after i want to copy rig config file in usb disk but now usb disk is not showing at my computer but showing in disk management

Will the usb way still work if you have a ssd drive connected to the rig computer. Or will that mess up the booting from the USB? Sorry if its dumb but I'm new to all this lol

A bit off topic but hopefully you will see this and have time for an answer. I now have about 2 Gh running on Hiveon pool and am unsure which payment method to use. Options are $3/month per rig (currently I have 6 on the pool) so that is $18/month. Currently I am mining about $2,700/month. However, my farm is currently set up for paying the 3% fee (which I can change). If I am doing the math correctly does the 3% pool fee mean 3% of my $2,700? If so...that is a whopping $83.70 per month!! Before I switch over to the 3$/month/rig option can you tell me if I am looking at this correctly? I cannot find anything on the web that has clarified this, so I am reaching out to you. Thank you!

Great video! But I'm stuck after the HIVEOS boot selection screen after I installed my 6th GPU. It shows "error: can't allocate initrd", anyone knows why does this happened?

When I flash my SSD with Etcher, I dont see a Hive partition in disk management and my SSD is not longer showing up on my File Explorer. Any Suggestions?

I followed step by step and when i reboot my laptop just get a black screen i even tried insafe mode and looks like its getting stuck at loading initial ramdisk and just hangs there
