I remember when this fight was announced. I wasn’t hugely looking forward to it, given the fact that AJ vs Fury had just been called off, and I thought Fury would just bulldoze him again. Turns out it was much more then what I expected and I’m glad I bought the ppv. Both men giving it their all, showing unrivalled grit and determination, both scoring knockdowns and putting on one of the best heavyweight fights in recent years and sealing off one of the best trilogies of all time!

This was a great fight however, this trilogy isn’t close to ali/Frasier and even bowe/holyfield, the fights were all won by fury and let’s be honest wilder would’ve won maybe 5 rounds over the 3 fights

That was an emotional millennial reaction. Beating the same one dimensional fighter (who himself only has one aged boxer of note on his record) 3 times does not prove you are best in the world, he also beat an ageing and unmotivated Klitschko...who also had pretty pedestrian tactics for 10yrs. Let us see how Fury does against Ruiz, Usyk, Joyce, Dubois, Hirgovic, Joshua etc...I guess he wont fight his friend Parker. Wilder was gassed after 3 rounds and had no leg support in his punches past round 5...this would not be the case with most other top 10 heavyweights.

What I am starting to realize is that Geordie likes to turn on his favourite fighters after they had terrible perfomance, like with Conor, AJ and he was prepared to turn on Tyson after the 2nd knockdown

There is NO way anyone could say Fury has no power. He doesn’t have that wicked right hand that Wilder owns, but that is a clearly powerful guy. Power can come from two places. Either God gives it to you, or you generate it with your technique. As awkward as Fury can be, his power punches are really really technical. When he lands, those long levers deliver it all.

Its a bit of a relief seeing Wilder stopped honestly...from an American over here....;)
