Awesome video. Music kills it. Almost had to stop watching.
ОтветитьIt is highly recommended sink leak repair tutorial. The demo was perfect and the explaination was great.👍👍👍
ОтветитьI hope in the future you don’t use the music. We’re not here for that and it makes it difficult to hear you. Other than that great video
ОтветитьI watch it many times for the music. Arp Ascent by DivKid. Beautiful tune.
ОтветитьGreat repair video...music not needed
ОтветитьMusic BAD!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьThis video is as concise as it gets. 🙏💪💪💪💪
ОтветитьWhy the music? Appreciate your efforts but at times I couldn't understand what you were saying because the music was too loud
ОтветитьThe video i was looking for

I really appreciate you posting this video!
Hey, very much appreciate your thoughtful video. I did this job thirty years ago on the sink but needed a reminder to the steps I should take to do it again. Your detailed instructions along with the suggestions for the most correct wrench to use and very pleasant manner give me more confidence to get this job done correctly. I hate plumbing!
ОтветитьVery informative and clearly presented--Thank you! A question, if I may... I have the Universal Wrench but the large "nut" that holds the drain/strainer in place underneath seems frozen solid, and won't budge. I assume it's not a left hand thread...is that correct? Any tricks you can suggest to loosen it? Many Thanks!
ОтветитьThank You! Jeff
ОтветитьI didn't see anything wrong with old old basket strainer. So why didn't he just replace the rubber gasket and cardboard washer?
Oh right, because they don't just sell the gasket and washer. You're forced to buy the whole assembly. Silly me.
4 years later now, would you upload this again without the music..
ОтветитьCan’t you just caulk it underneath?
ОтветитьPretty sure the white gasket goes on top, where you stupidly put all that goop that is going to cause a broken nut down the road.
ОтветитьVery good video.. Going to try this tomorrow!
Ответитьfollowed these directions, wasted a few hours, gonna have to repeat the process. even on the drain packaging it shows the rubber gasket going under the other gasket, not over, guess where the only leak in the whole system is? Now I wonder if I will have to replace those gaskets for round two. **Update** Picked up new gasket set, this gasket set seams to call for the same placement recommended in the video vs the way the last kit advised, I cleaned everything up real good and am trying silicone vs putty this time as the putty seems to be less consistent and solid and seems as if over time, bumping the pipes would result in possible leaks. Fingers crossed. Also I followed the video's suggestion again but this time, that suggestion lines up with the included instructions, at initial inspection, this all seems as though it may work. * UPDATE 2*** attempt 2 failed, the silicone is leaving gaps when tightened and although it states 30 minutes to dry, 2 holes later it was easy to remove as it hadn't set. trying again, rubber gasket only, no cardboard or other 2nd gasket material, allowing silicone to set overnight, hoping it doesn't have gaps.
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьThank you thank you
ОтветитьAwesome video! Id like to know, on average how much would a repair like this cost? Thanks!
Ответитьwhy is the voice so quiet AND THEN THE MUSIC IS SO LOUD
what the hell man!
Thank you so much! Saved me from having to call my plumber son for directions. Lol😅😅😅
ОтветитьThanks 😊
ОтветитьMusic is much too loud.
ОтветитьExcellent video but the music was a little loud I couldn't hear what you were saying and I would like to see you hold up the items you're using so we could see what kind of putty who makes it what kind of sink $10 for the whole kit who makes it apart from that great video I'm trying to do this myself I wish me luck
ОтветитьTurn the music off. If I wanted to hear music. I would not be watching a video on a leaking sink.
ОтветитьI did this job several months ago and replaced both sink drains. I had a problem with the left one leaking. I use plumber's putty but I'm not sure why it's leaking now several months later. Does this mean the plumber's putty failed or did I not tighten the nut underneath enough? I don't know what to do other than to try removing and reseating the sink drain and using more putty again.
ОтветитьMine is the seal between the pipe and the gasket that’s leaking. will replacing the gasket help or can I buy that high hat seal separately?
ОтветитьThanks for this video. I was able to complete the job following your instructions!
ОтветитьGreat video and instructions but my only critique would be please turn down the volume on the music for the next video.
Ответитьthe background track was giving me anxiety.
ОтветитьGood Video. I might need to come back for other projects.
Ответитьthank you again
ОтветитьI'd like that "If Jeff Can't Fix It" sweat shirt. Where can get one XL? Thanks! :)
ОтветитьThe cardboard washer fiber washer wears out fast. Oh wow I didn't know what that smell was coming from thanks.
ОтветитьCan't hear over the 'background' music.
ОтветитьThis is a high-quality video that is ruined by the music.
It's too loud and I cannot hear you.😢
Thank you for helping me with your video 🙌🏾😆
ОтветитьCan’t hear over the music!!!!!!!! Stick with plumbing!
ОтветитьThank you!! For 30 bucks I was able to fix the problem. Time for a Tim the Toolman Taylor grunt. "Aurgh aurgh aurgh"
ОтветитьQuestion if you don't mind sir, do you think silicone would work like plumbers putty because I have none but I have silicone 😂 maybe?
ОтветитьIs the cardboard gasket really necessary?
ОтветитьGreat video, but the music should be much quieter, brother
Ответитьhorrible filming skills. like it was v v bad man
ОтветитьI have a problem with the rubber gasket and paper gasket bulging out as I tighten the spanner ring on the bottom side?
Ответить
