The gentleman tried to put my name on the song with his Don had a fit and instead he gave me a telephone number to call on a certain day in a certain time when I called the number I got Karen Carpenter she was in interview on stage I told her if I was older I would marry her.

The lyrics were written by Guy Williams they were given to Don Kirchner, because I had a contract with him. Don gave the lyrics to a gentleman that was Australia, they wrote the music to it. Not the lyrics.

I love seeing and hearing her at the top of her game and the song is fantastic. The "yea-haw!" was a side of her not often seen. This is the way I want to remember her before that awful disease took her away from us all☹☹
