Computer sounds like an impersonation of a very young Paul Lynde.
ОтветитьIs that Bernie Sanders voice?
ОтветитьI remember watching these The Ant and the Aardvark cartoons, these were great, so timeless, as good as they were when they were made. John Byner, the Comedian, was an excellent voice over actor. Nice to see the session musicians in The Wrecking Crew receive credit for the music, musicians did not receive much credit back then.
ОтветитьToo much ad.....
ОтветитьThese cartoons are the best
ОтветитьClassics
ОтветитьBack when cartoons were funny
Ответить"anybody got a ton of butter?" no but i do have margarine
ОтветитьSick. That Aardvark Just Can't Catch A Break, Just Like The Coyote, & The Roadrunner.
ОтветитьWho ever made this was definitely on a trip lol 😂
ОтветитьWhoever decided to voice the Aardvark as a Jackie Mason sound alike and the ant as Dean Martin and the computer as a facsimile of Paul Lynde... absolute genius
ОтветитьJohn Byner as Jackie Mason, Dean Martin, and Paul Lynde in this one.
ОтветитьAll that I can say..is? "Sorry Mr.Aardvark..but..I don't have any butter".(LOL!).
ОтветитьHere it is 2023 and this ChatGPT themed installment from over 50 years ago couldn't be more prescient than ever
ОтветитьI remember watching this in late 90s when i was a kid on saudi tv.
Lemme tell i didnt understand a word but i remember enjoying it alot. Now watching w/ my 8yrs old daughter and im loving it even better. I dont remember my daughter loved any of my childhood cartoons not tom and jerry or pink panther not laurel and hardy or silvester and tweety, kids now adays are tought to satisfy but she defo love watching aardvark now.
The comment and the voice over is magnificent and magnificent is just for the lack of a better word
The Computer's Voice looks like from one of Gery Anderson's Puppets.
ОтветитьHow come the computer keeps chuckling?
ОтветитьThat was Paul Lyynes voice, he did several cartoon voices in the early 70's.
ОтветитьEverything aardvarks could tried red ants 🐜 always gets away 😡
ОтветитьGreat stuff, and thzt lil jazzy music is soooo cool!!
ОтветитьI love these
ОтветитьI would have thought the voice of the computer was Paul Lynde...it's scary, but funny, regardless
ОтветитьWho said I was a computer? I'm an automatic pop-up toaster... Brilliant!
ОтветитьI like the Music as well as the Cartoons . As a kid in the 60's , this was one of my favorites .
Ответить"...he must be having a bad trip." (LSD reference.) LOL!
Ответить"...there's a line there, but i can't use it." - Groucho Marx
makes you wonder what he had been thinking.
When I was between 8-10 years old, my whole family would laugh ourselves silly watching these two...we all loved the slick laid-back way the ant talked...just like "Sugar Bear" from the cereal!...Great Dean Martin impression.
ОтветитьAardvark is so funny!!!😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьHaving a bad trip on Sat AM cartoons? Yeah, this is definitely a period piece
ОтветитьNo matter how time flies, I can safely say this series will always be timeless to me.
ОтветитьI thought he’s a computer but he’s not he’s an automatic pop-up toaster.
ОтветитьUh hu just as I thought
ОтветитьReally funny to hear the Blue Aardvark for the first time with it's original voice, because over here in Germany he was voiced by a woman and was named Elise 😂
ОтветитьI wonder why John Byner never talks about the work he did on this cartoon in interviews. I would think this would be one of his favourite career moments. Also I noticed after this cartoon series he very rarely ever did his Dean Martin Impression on shows or even on Bizarre.
ОтветитьOn the upside, at least the Aardvark now a lifetime supply of toast all to himself by that "super computer."
Giving the Aardvark a chance to have some food without being starving for a while.
This is hilarious and brings back many memories. Wish I can own this digitally, all the episodes
