Hi team, how would you compare this to Formex?
ОтветитьYou sing to the patrons and you get a follow from me ma’am. Well done.
ОтветитьWhich watch she is wearing? To me looks like Sinn ezm3
ОтветитьI have the Monta Noble and I wear it along with my Grand Seiko and Tudor. It definitely holds its own among those brands and I'd even say the bracelet on the Monta is better than the bracelet on either the GS or Tudor. The dial is crisp and lume is amazing and lasts all night.
Ответитьcompare the traska gmt with the new Miyota movement to this one please
ОтветитьTHE WATCH GRINGA RULES !!!!!!!!
ОтветитьTHE WATCH GRINGA RULES !!!!
ОтветитьThe attention to detail is amazing, the quality of the printing isn’t something I’d have thought to compliment before owning but it’s mesmerizing to see the dimensionality to it, it almost looks like it hasn’t dried it’s so smooth! I also love how the half links (both of them!) are articulated like any other full size link on the bracelet, really drives home the level of quality on offer.
ОтветитьGuys I could never buy a watch without trying it on my wrist. The fact that is a online company it really throws me off. Nice watches on video but... spending almost 2k without feeling the watch is weird
ОтветитьYet here we are Britt, you bought the bb54 - can't blame you though 😂
Ответитьis it a True GMT? or an office GMT?
ОтветитьTo be honest, it only looks so so in the vid. Looks fairly basic, dare I say cheap. Sorry.
ОтветитьI really want COSC certification for this price
ОтветитьThis watch is ugly.
ОтветитьAgree completely that Monta offers a product quality that rivals that of watch companies that charge multiples higher prices. Have owned a Oceanking for several years. one of the best and most reliable pieces in my collection. Get compliments almost every time I wear it.
ОтветитьThe clasp isn't a problem. It's designed to be that way. I have a teal and I like that it takes some muscle to close it and secure it.
ОтветитьMonta are great, they are a good watch.
ОтветитьMy daughter just came home from school in Brighton for a visit. The moment she started talking, I just had to ask, who the hell are you? So I know what you’re talking about.
ОтветитьEvery GMT review should start with the clasificación either Office GMT or travelers GMT. This 2893-2 found in every homage brand, is an office GMT. As a person that travels for work, they are useless as for the GMT function. That is why it cannot be compared with a Tudor GMT or BBPro. Those are jumping hour travelers. I have a Tudor GMT and has replaced my 16570 for overseas travel. As a watch channel, not sure why you did not go for that one first as the rest is fine but not quite. All watch geeks relish in this type of detail, you did not. It says a lot, not bad it just does.
ОтветитьOn the Microbrand front, I just bought an Axios Flagship Defiance the other night and I haven't been that excited to get a watch in awhile. I'm looking at my front porch like dog waiting for the mailman.
ОтветитьI have a Tudor Black Bay, and I absolutely love it. I was looking to purchase the Pelagos 39. After seeing this review I may have to rethink my next watch.
ОтветитьYou're never pretentious, you're just passionate. Keep up the good work 💪🏽
ОтветитьNoooooo! No spell on me pleeeeease! 😅
I’m subscribed now … ok?!? 😊
Thanks for sharing this great discovery.
I’ve got this exact watch and it really is exemplary. The clasp on mine closes easily.
ОтветитьYaaaaaaaaa time to come back to TORONO 😂
ОтветитьWait...only $1600??
I had thought Monta were far more expensive! 🤦🏻♂️😳
That's a stunner. Great now I need another watch. The Jack Mason Strat O Timer gmt looks pretty hot as well.
ОтветитьWhat a boring design, looks like an ordinary Seiko. Why people keep reviewing these lookalikes as if they were something different from others? 🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьI also went down the micro brand rabbit hole recently, now on #6. Micro brands turn the value for $ on it's head in the watch industry. Look at Farer for example. I sold a Tudor BB after getting a Farer GMT, which was a fraction of the $. Monta appears to be a great watch for the $, but I find their designed boring. Farer is really adding colors and taking chances. Take a look at the brand.
ОтветитьOoh i like it....just looking at the white and blue too...wowzers...i need to add one of these to the "i wish i could buy one right now" list
ОтветитьWatch is good looking enough. I don't know. Was a nice review, thanks Brittany. 🙂👍
ОтветитьI bought this watch in opaline silver when it was on pre-order. I can honestly say that, if I didn't miss the functionality of a dive watch bezel, I could wear this watch every day for the rest of my life and never buy another one. It's really that good and that versatile. In fact, it's given me such a good impression of Monta, that I'm waiting to see their next iteration of the Ocean King before I consider another watch purchase.
ОтветитьI'm kansas city missouri born and raised. Monta is from the other side of the state in st louis. There is a natural rivalry. But i can't hate on this watch. It looks and feels amazing. Love these watches
ОтветитьA Canadian stuck in UK … that’s funny beyond watching this review ! 🇨🇦
Ответитьsubscribed, keep up the good work and quirky vibes videos
ОтветитьThanks for the good review. There’s another interesting gmt from jack mason I think that would be great to have a face off with, adding your own unique spin, especially since there seems to an interesting attempt to give a better bracket and clasp. Ps, I noticed the little kink in the gmt hand and thought it kinky humorous. Otherwise looks like a solid contender.
ОтветитьLove your reviews! Also, I subscribed, so no spells please :))
ОтветитьDid I see it has its in house calibre? And also Swiss made?
ОтветитьI have a Monta Noble, which has the same case and bracelet as the Atlas. It's a phenomenal watch. After getting it, I saw what all the fuss is about. Compared to other watches in my collection at a "similar" price point (Sinn, Oris, etc.), the Monta is far and away a superior watch. I have 15 mechanical watches in my collection (including a Rolex), and I can say unequivocally that the Monta is the best value proposition I've ever seen. If I lost all my watches in a horrible watch fire, the Monta is probably the first one I would replace. I see why you're gushing over it lol. And btw, my clasp works perfectly. It's not a Rolex clasp, but it's better than anything else in my collection, and most of my watches are on bracelets.
ОтветитьIt's funny. For the longest time a Tudor was a Tudor quality watch with an off the shelf movement. :)
Ответитьwhat a load of crap !!!!!
ОтветитьHave you seen any Amanda McCants videos?
ОтветитьI don't think there is a single thing about this watch I don't like. It seems to do everything I'd hope or expect from an Explorer or Aquaterra, but waaaaay cheaper, and frankly better looking. It's slim, has a display caseback and dimensions are spot on for my sub 7 inch wrist. With 150m WR! What more can I ask for?
ОтветитьNew viewer here and only thing 'sus' about this watch video is how much i agree with everything Britt says! Fair intro rant. So very happy to have found a fellow horologist who sees though the typical b.s. and sassy attitude of watch culture. Thank you Britt for the enjoyable and relatable content :)
ОтветитьThis is a beautiful gmt. Btw I just got my first Tudor Black Bay and love it but it’s strange how it’s also making me appreciate my Omega more at the same time. Probably because I can’t see the movement. Great video on a solid micro brand watch Gringa!
ОтветитьPrice ?
ОтветитьI'm looking into picking up the triumph soon
ОтветитьThat's a great looking watch. I like the blue dial I'm a sucker for blue dials
