I have a stop breath at night from one side of my nose and it's changed from one side to the other side it depends on the side of my sleep...is that cause the wakes at night to go to the bathroom several times

Don't drink liquids 2 hours before you get to bed, as simple as that!
Don't try to brain wash people!

It's definitely not a cure for everyone. It was suggested I have a sleep study and of course they diagnosed me with apnea, and had to get that annoying machine. It did nothing for my sleep problems. I recently had a TURP and have immediately gone form 4-5 times a night to 1-2 times.

I have sleep apnea. I use a machine with supplemental oxygen.
Lately I wake up 5 times a night to pee.
My apnea appears under control. Any idea why I am peeing so much.
I drink and eat nothing after 7:00pm and go to bed at 10:00pm

for me it varies from day to day. On a bad day, usually where I've had tea/coffe +another drink in the late evening, I cam wake up 3/4 times usually every 2 hours or so ( though this is rare) more commonly I wake up between 2 &4 to go to the toilet and then sometimes around 6am.

I've been drinking 3-5 (8 oz) glasses of water within 2-3 hours of bedtime. Does that seem like too much? I've been under the impression that hydration is good but maybe I'm overdoing it?

GO GET A CHECK UP NOW..

I have been watching videos about nocturia. No one mentions antidiurectic hormone. This hormone is supposed to reduce urine output when you sleep. I am 75 years old and am still working. The reason I have to get up two or three times a night to go to the bathroom is that I work sitting down in front of a computer for long periods of time. I have a little swelling problem. So I am glad to remove some water when I am lying down. It does not bother me at all. Sometimes I fell asleep right after dinner. I get enough sleep. I do not believe nocturia will shorten my life.

THANK YOU - I have gone the whole gambit with 3 procedures and 4 Urologist and then was put on Elavil. He then said to have a sleep study which showed I did not have sleep apnea. When I got the results to my GP the said it was insomnia and he had a pill for that.
I call the clinic to see if I could see the results she said on the phone I need the $4000.00 sleep test to validate what you have described to me here. Thank you so much.

I have copd so I use oxygen at night, but I do get up about 5 times a night. I go to bed around midnight and up no later than 9am. I had copd and ended up catching the influenza flu and caught pneumonia, was in ICU for 7 days fighting for my life, was at 150 pounds and now I'm at 178. After getting out of the hospital I then had a motorcycle accident and that's when I started having problems. I also started having leg cramps. Now I'm taking magnesium glycinate for the cramps and started eating Brazil nuts. I eat cabbage with potatoes, onions and beef sausage with tomatoes and olive oil for dinner. I eat good but for some reason I started having a problem. Any help I sure would appreciate, I will start getting more sun, eat earlier like you mentioned in this video and lose some weight if you feel I should. I look forward to hearing back from you, thanks. My name is David.

Uars sounds like sleep apnea but you rouse enough not to have a longer then 10 seconds apnea ... What a ridiculous distinction. Isn't the solution the same?

I recently went on bio identical hormone replacement therapy, which is plant based compared to the chemical hormone replacement therapy that the medical insurance covers. Unfortunately it wrecked havoc with my sleep, causing me to wake up every hour.
So, now more blood tests need to be done and the medication need to be adjusted.
Hopefully, it will work out well. The first consultation and medication was $700. 8 weeks later you are supposed to do blood tests again and pay a $300 consultation + your $300 medication.
It's just insane what people can charge. Then they mess you up and just apologize. ......

I had a hip replacement, and I was told I would have problems with my bowel motion, this also affects my urinating. ..After 6 years and a half, my bowel motion starts becoming normal again, and easier urinating is now more consistent. I am 81, so I expect aging side effects. Writing this has taken me much less time than the duration of your video.

Mercury toxicity also has this effect but no one talks about it because mercury is supposedly harmless unless you have an industrial exposure. After 9 months of oral, low dose chelation my nighttime trips to the bathroom went from 3 to occasionally once.
