Although I tried a few different preferences on the monitor I still think the brightness of the monitor is way to dark. I am using this monitor with a USB Type-C / DisplayPort cable to my MacBook Pro M1. What might I be doing wrong? What tipps can you give me? Thanks and have a great day.

How do you connect any USB devices? Like e.g. mouse or flash drive? I know that this monitor has USB ports in it but I don't think you can use them since you only connected display port cable. Could you shed some light on that for me please?

This screen does not support HIDPI resolution so everything is bad and pixelated with a Mac

Hi Dan, i have a problem, my screen resolution is really bad when i'm connecting my m1 pro to the 34' curved monitor, I'm using a cheap vvg usb c to hdmi adapter with only 30 herz.
Is it a configuration problem or is the adapter not good enough?

I think the Huawei Mateview GT 34inch 165Hz Gaming monitor would have been a better fit for you.

I've been using it (Huawei MateView GT 34) for about one week. Yesterday I realized that its adapter getting really hot. It even make the wooden table hot. I use Asus all in one for years with a bigger adapter and there's nothing here something like this. Is it acceptable, normal or is it a sign for something bad? What should I do?

Hello. I had the same monitor and macbook pro 16 m1 pro. Everything looks so small on mi monitor and there is no scaling option (font size). I use HDMI port on macbook. In this video, it looks good. Do I need usb c to display port cable?

the problem of that monitor (maybe another 2k ultrawide too) is Scaling mode of OS X not available in monitor settings.. and I can't scaling text and OS X interface like at MacBook's display. text and interface are too small for me. I have another windows 11 notebook and I can scaling 125% or 150% well

Hey, Sorry to interrupt. I have a MacBook Air M1 connected into Xiaomi Curve 34" Monitor using default monitor HDMI cable with USB hub and get the actual resolution of about 3440 x 1440 @50hz. The problem is the text is Blurry, even when I start code to text is not clear. How to fix this?, change cable, or waiting for an update from mac os for HIDPI Monitor support. btw, current os is MacOS Monterey 12.2.1

hey man !! appreciate the video !! one issue i keep running into is the power management .. how do i have the usb c charging cable in ? cz the display port to usb c wont charge it right ? and the other one will have to have a hub where i can charge the laptop too not very comfortable with that !! any solutions ?

For anyone having troubles waking up the Mac when the MacBook itself is closed and you are using external MnK + display, if you use a DisplayPort-to-USB-C adapter it will work fine. I had troubles connecting it via HDMI and a USB-C hub

I have a quick question thought.
I bought 4K DP to HDMI cable and connected the two - DP on the monitor and HDMI on my 16' M1 macbook pro.
But it's not working. Any idea why?
There's a sticker written 'output' on the HDMI side. Is this why?
Or did I just buy the wrong cable?

Could you share your monitor settings please? Because i also bought this monitor and fonts and texts has Fluency and texts are not good quality as my m1 macbook. I try to us sharpness on monitor settings but this time texts are nearly good but dock icons flu. İm using 8k 60hz type c to dp cable. Could you getting same quality as macbook texts and icons on mi monitor? Thanks
