Google Pixel 2 XL Revisited: I Needed a Replacement!

I use Bluetooth headphones with my pixel 2 XL.
I haven't even plugged my headphone adapter in.

It doesn't look like a 800$ phone! S9 for me brah.

Lol for Android direct updates sound so awesome. On iOS this is so normal it’s boring to even mention that.

I hope it isn't just me but the front of the pixel 2 xl looks pretty ugly. Worse than the s9, v30, and even the iphone x

I had an error that says 'The device camera encountered a fatal error' and I got a replacement for that.

I have that same problem with my phone and the headphones. I thought it was only me...

I really wish people would stop talking about the blue shift! Every phone has some sort of shift she. You tilt it.

You actually just need a non-metal material. Plastic and the neat experimental materials OEMs used to implement can also support wireless charging, like my plastic-backed Nexus 5.

Have had a similar headphone problem with the regular pixel2. It now works but using headphones with mics for phonecalls, the mics don't work. I don't like Bluetooth headphones because I have to charge them. So this and trying to listen to something while needing to charge my phone has been incredibly frustrating especially on road trips where I don't have a bunch of other media devices around me. So when google makes a decision like this to make you use adapters that don't work and have less usability it is incredibly frustrating. At least Apple put a pair of headphones in the box of their phone.

Hi Tim, is Google replacing it with a refurb or new? I got mine replaced as well 3/19/18 and got a refurb.. I did notice that the paint has over paint on the white a small nick.

love it but I did have to get a replacement less than 24 hours after picking mine up. One speaker wasn't working.

Ugly ass design, slow charging, big fat bezels, no headphone jack, no expandable storage and plastic body, seriously fuck off google

I bought pixel and returnwd it next day .it felt like a toy ..camera not as good as 'reviews have you believe and i got an LG v 30 that most reviewers are not too positive about. But in my opinion is way better ... I reckon 75% of these professional reviewers are on kick backs or something .

They will replace your phone with a refurbished phone, not a new one. Experienced this myself

I would switch to this phone is it had the Moto shake features. I can't do without the Moto features even tho I don't use all of them.

Who cares how the back looks? I only look okay the front no matter what phone it is.

Is the white part metal or plastic? If it's plastic then it could have wireless and they just left it out.

I would have bought one but, they didn't release it on T-Mobile, and I'm not dropping that much cash on a phone at once.

You're using and dropping the phone without a case. We shouldn't be surprised there's scratches.

My OnePlus 3T lasted almost twice as long as my friends 2 week old Pixel 2XL during an all day concert we went to. We were both taking videos most of the day.. I was planning on upgrading to the 2 XL for the speakers and better camera, but his battery life seemed terrible.. Was it a fluke?

I'm using a Nokia 5 and oddly in May I have 8.1.0 with May Security patch which is super impressive! It's not any kind of comparison to a Pixel 2 but it definitely is nice.

my brother needed 6 replacments for his pixel, he now has a one plus 6

i had to get my pixel 2 replaced cuz it would not charge but they did not offer me a advanced replacement sestom i had to send it in and then they sent me a new one and it took over a month.
