I have the $12-$15 license plate back up camera paired with my $1000 kenwood touchscreen media player and it’s exceptional. They waterproof it cheaply with silicone but I’m the waterproofing works. The picture is super crisp and clear. It’s my 2nd one on this car because after 5 years (no garage) it was faded from the Vegas sun and the picture quality finally got blurry + lost some waterproofing. Worth more than I paid for sure

I had a supervisor that worked for at the company i worked for (not my company, just a plebe)... they sent money to installl a back up camera for him because he kept backing into the chainlink fence that ended the property. so theyn they paid a 2nd time to have a light installed (mounted in the hitch block) so he could see.... 4 years later he would still back right into the fence. I had the unforunate experience of driving with him once and culture plus age were factor. constabntly significatnyl below the seed limit on a single lane, he would slow to a 20 in a 60 to turn about an entire block before the turn.... some drivers, doesnt matter how much you help them,. theyre legit bad drivers.

Need for the garage parking aids is if you want a car to park in a specific spot each time. We have the STKR parking aid that is just a green/yellow/red sign and it works great. We want as much room in the front of the car as possible, but make sure it's far enough into the garage to open the back hatch. The STKR lets you set the exact spot. As for the backup camera, hook it up to the license plate light and just leave it on all the time. Using the backup lights is just stupid.

When I pull in, I put it in reverse and look in my rearview camera to check how far I'm from where the garage door would be when it closes. easy peezy

If you need parking aids you shouldn’t be driving seriously move your head, use your eyes and be aware of what’s around you and how large your vehicle is or You shouldn’t be aloud to drive legally in my opinion

I would never buy it but the countdown is amazing, just figure out which number is close enough for you and always park using that number
