So you would recommend these over the Starkey genesis 24 full shell for noise reduction?
ОтветитьIs this the same as the Jabra customs that Costco sells?
ОтветитьHow well does does the custom work in preventing occlusion?
ОтветитьWill this work for bricros users?
ОтветитьHow does this style work with beanies and headbands and ski helmets, which cover your ear? It seems like you’d get bad feedback with those things rubbing on the microphone.
ОтветитьWhy not talk about the cost of those hearing aides. It seems that no one shows the cost of these affordable hearing aides. They always seems to be hidden. I wonder why?
ОтветитьI miss my sound quality of the lyric hearing aids.. unfortunately i wasnt a candate in the end I switched to the ReSound RIC hearing aids and they were great with speech and hearing other people but the quality with music gets soooo tinny and pitchy!!!! And when i’m singing it would disort certain pitches so i like I literally cannot wear them or ill become tone deaf!!! My audiologist spent hours today trying to fix it it it, ive went back 3 times for like hours trying to have him fix it and it was never worked!!! HEELLPPP!!!!!!! Where’s the best hearing aid for a musician with a flat Mild to Moderate hearing loss?? HEEELLLPPP!!!!!!!
ОтветитьDoctor one more thing, please do also review Signia Active pro....... Those hearing aids also look cool and sleek, and have good feature set, but I don't know if as a hearing aids, they are good or not? Your detailed review can only make it clear, so please do review Signia Active pro and Signia Insio Charge & Go AX, as soon as possible..........
ОтветитьHello Doctor Cliff, hope you are doing good...... Doctor, i want to ask you, when you are going to review Signia Insio Charge & Go AX customised hearing aids, I am eagerly waiting for your review for these hearing aids, as then it will help me decide to go for Customs by Resound, or Signia Insio Charge & Go AX? So please review Signia Insio Charge & Go AX soon, and also do compare them with Customs by resound.......... 🙂
ОтветитьI just picked up my new custom one Resound 2 days ago, previous HA, Phonak Virto. Phonak Virto had a tendency to pick up moisture otherwise no issues plus great connectivity.
I have no dexterity issues but the Resound is hard to put in. The Phonak is the best for connectivity, didn’t realize what a pain it is for resound to connect from phone to iPad and phone. Turn off Bluetooth on one device and turn on other device and wait for HA to connect. I have 45 days to return, which I will, probably try Phonak Virto Paradise. As far as sound quality, Resound , for whatever reason can’t make the venting large enough for my hearing loss sounds like a tunnel where as my Phonak venting is not an issue. However after 2 days I’m adjusting to the sound from Resound. For me connectivity is a big issue. Didn’t mean to vent….😀🇺🇸
Hi, Doctor Cliff. The ear I'm having hearing lost in the bass sound sounds like a busted drum and I can't hear the high hat sounds unless I get close to the speaker can you tell me why?
ОтветитьDr.Cliff, in your opinion between Phonak Virto and Resound Custom One , which one has the best Bluetooth features and connectivity?
ОтветитьThanks for the info. When the rechargeable battery’s wear out what does it cost to have them replaced and do they have to be sent off to be replaced?
ОтветитьIt won’t be known as custom by resound. You say that they are available in CIC size, but without stating that CIC models will not rechargeable or wireless. Bit misleading.
ОтветитьThanks for the Video Dr. Cliff. Are you able to confirm if these support Profound hearing loss? I currently wear BTE - Resounds EN998-DW in both ears
ОтветитьWhat would be the best hearing aid for someone who prefers Android to Apple?
ОтветитьI use the Resound MIH, I am looking at getting a new pair of hearing aids, and this video answers so many questions I had. Thank you for taking the time to create these wonderful reviews.
ОтветитьHello, do you think the they will survive swimming in a pool?
ОтветитьQuick question. I currently have the rechargeable Resound Quattros that have a stated battery life of 30 hours according to their literature, but I never come close to that. Maybe 17 to 20 hours with a mix of regular use and streaming. Has the stated battery life of 24 hours (20 hours of continuous streaming) been independently verified for these new Resound Customs? I am looking into to these and battery life of rechargeable hearing aids is critically important, especially if they don't actually last as long as stated, AND don't come with a premium charging case with battery built in. Thanks in advance for your reply!
ОтветитьI'm so glad I found your channel, I have been watching your various videos for a while now and must say I have learned so much from them. I am due for a new set of HA's this year and am considering the in the ear variety. I had the option last time but chose the Marvels instead. One thing that I have some difficulty with is getting them on and off quickly. I am a MRI Technologist by trade and need to remove my HA's before entering the magnet room or risk dephasing them. I'm curios if the in the ear custom type might be a bit easier/quicker for me to get in and out before entering zone 4. If you have dealt with this before with any of your clientele and have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance and keep the content coming
ОтветитьDr cliff audy plz tell about drug treatment update
ОтветитьI took my hearing aids back because it seems that all the new hearing aids have too much tech that interferes with just hearing. Example: as soon as I tried to play my acoustic guitar, the hearing aids decided they wanted to adjust the volume, which resulted in the ear that was nearest my guitar to almost mute visa versa the two aids where attempting to balance. I just want a hearing aid that is tuned to my hearing loss, but with a simple volume that I set without the aid constantly trying to adjust itself. Like in the old days.
ОтветитьDo these new aids support Bi cros
ОтветитьHello Clifford, I have decided to go for PHONAK BRIO 4-I -312 , custom in the canal hearing aid at Costco as per their recommendation..
I have this doubt always that, What will I miss when compared to the BEHIND THE EAR hearing aid other than telecoil ..
I prefer in the canal for my lifestyle as I feel I’m not too old for External hearing aids.
Will it serve the purpose and comfortable as compared to the External hearing aids.
Thanks for the review - does anyone know if these aids support Bluetooth 5.2 LE Audio?
ОтветитьThe review given by you is very informative. Thank you!
Ответитьgood video but since ReSound doesn't make power bank for the hearing aids there are 3rd party power banks you should have checked into and mentioned for this hearing aids
ОтветитьHello, do you have information on how well these HAs work with severe-to-profound hearing loss? Do they offer enough amplification for such a loss? I’m asking because their range is up to 100 dB loss but one thing is a paper range but in real life they could not have enough power to cover that loss…
ОтветитьDoctor, When i bought new hearing aids, the voices and backgrou,d noises seemed different, its good but its so different, like different voice, pitches or something not like my old hearing aids, i was comfortable with my old hearing aids, why is that?
ОтветитьThanks for the great review Dr. C! I ordered these 2 weeks ago. I’ll be the first patient of my audiologist to get them. Looking forward to it! I turned in the Phonak Virto 312 P90s I was trialing because I did not like the battery drawers, or the sound quality. I’ve had Resound RITE with power molds for 4 years now and am hoping these Custom Resounds fit me better in terms of sound profile.
ОтветитьThat's right. Don't give us the price. What you could do instead is to tell us what car would cost us this much. Like, "If you own a 2022 Corvette, you can own these. If this isn't an ad, please tell me what it really is. The hearing aids in your "Video" are similar, in all respects, to the ones VA recommended for me. The VA price was very reasonable, free.
ОтветитьI absolutely love my Phonaks. I have the Phonak Audeo Paradise Life 90, Rechargable!
I did notice one big difference from my Lynx 3D. Music sounds way less intense on ReSound. But, I love ReSound are amazing.
What is your thought on Behear Access hearing amplifier?
ОтветитьWow ... what a thorough review, Cliff. Good job. 😁👍💕
ОтветитьGreat informative review! I am at the end of five productive years on my current Resounds.
Can I get a HA that connects with an Apple Watch with cellular capability so that I can use the HAs to hear the call and to transmit my own voice, to make a two-way phone call, without involving my iPhone or having to speak into my Watch? Basically, for cellular calls, I want to ditch the iPhone and use the Watch without lifting the Watch to my lips Dick-Tracey style.
Another commentor’s desire to BT connect to a PC is very desirable. I now use the Multi Mic, but it is another device in the string of things to do. Tho’, the multi mic is a champion in so many other situations, I wouldn’t want to give it up.
By the way, the water resistance of these HAs would make my life more enjoyable! Waterproof HAs would allow me pool time with friends.
Thank you for these wonderful HA reviews. I wish I lived in Pheonix to see you!
Regards,
Rick

ОтветитьThank you for the information.
Your thoughts on Phonak black or Resound custom?
Thank you for the review. I had the Quattro 9 model and returned them as they really were not a good aid IMO. The software for it was much better than the Phonak though. I have the Phonak M Black currently and I like them but the bluetooth is not what I had hoped as it cuts out a lot. I like the look of the Resound Custom, but the Rechargeable feature looks like it will cause issues on the go with no way to recharge easily without the case and a wall slot. The disposable batteries are much easier to carry and replace no matter where you are as you can't tell when they will decide to go out. Thanks again.
ОтветитьThank you Dr. Cliff for this excellent video.
My question is. is this specific custom hearing aid is compatible with cochlear America (nucleus profile+) cochlear implant ??
Thankyou Dr Cliff, I currently wear the Resound Quattro 9 RIC, I have tried the Starkey CIC and it sounded great (but found bluetooth a bit weak, and it uses a battery, plus lacked a push button), so I am (soon) going back to pick up my Starkey ITCs which will hopefully have better Bluetooth range, and I think have the three other features i mentioned.
I am wondering what the main differences might be with Starkey ITC as I cannot see anything different - but have you made this comparison, what are your thoughts?
One possible difference is that I asked for a Starkey ITC half shell, and I think they might be smaller than the ones in your video. Are you using a half or full shell in your video?
Can you do a review of the resound 1with the cochlear device
ОтветитьI would like to know is the custom Resound Hearing Aid compatible with my nuclear seven device. Thanks
ОтветитьHi Dr. Cliff, can you please tell me if this model works well for tinnitus management, and also if it features noise cancellation capability? By the way, fellow Marine here. Semper Fi Doc!
ОтветитьThanks for another great review 😊 Do these have the capability to connect to other Bluetooth enabled devices other than phones, thinking in particular of a Windows laptop?
ОтветитьI use ReSound RIC hearing aids which are also supplied with a basic case without any internal battery. There is an optional internally recharging case (costs ~$250), but it is easy and more cost effective to simply plug a backup battery into the standard case (USB-C) if charging on-the-go is needed.
ОтветитьMerci !
ОтветитьHi Dr.Cliff AuD Professional Audiologist ! Is ReSound hearing Aides In-The Ears are almost the same thing as Phonaks waterproof Audio Paradise Life Digital rechargeable non-contact battery Over-The -Ears or Behind -The -Ears hearing Aides ?
ОтветитьThank you Dr. Cliff for another excellent review. I was waiting for your review to come out and you provided the answers to many of my questions. The one question you didn't answer is how the hearing aids really sound in normal use and for music/streaming. As a long term hearing aid user (currently wearing Resound Quattro 9 mini BTEs), I was hoping these new Custom by Resound hearing aids will combine the best of Resound hearing aid and Jabra ear bud technologies into a single platform. I do understand there will be more occlusion vs a RIC hearing aid but wondering if the ITC configuration with dual microphones improves speech in noise and whether streaming music has the quality and range of a higher end earbud. Thanks again for posting these videos. Very helpful and informative!
ОтветитьHi Dr Cliff. Can you please do a review of the Osia system by cochlear? Unless you already have and I missed it....
