ОтветитьFar be it from me to question people who are far more experienced than I regarding design and safety, but the cockpit layout looks like death waiting to happen. The cockpit is a large open space with few discernable handholds, there is no seating behind the helm stations with an open space behind and a butt high wire life line perfectly positioned to backflip over the stern a helmsman or other hapless person who happens to let go of the wheel when the boat is pitching in a large sea. Is the person on watch going to have to stand the entire watch or sit off to the side with the torso twisted? That's going to be comfortable on a long watch. Unless that discoloration in front of the pedestal is one, I don't see any (folding?) U-bolts in the deck or bulkheads on which to secure a harness tether. The traveler is in front of the helm stations. it seems that would interfere with building a workable bimini enclosure (probably two, one for each helm) that would protect the helmsman from rain, wind and spray in heavy weather conditions. And assuming this layout was designed to accommodate a cruising couple, each of whom would be entirely responsible for the operation of the boat while on watch, shouldn't the winches be on the side of the boat, next to the helmsman where they would be more easily accessible?
I'm probably wrong regarding my concerns about the cockpit. My sailboats were considerably smaller than this one, so my experience with this kind of layout is nonexistent. The couple who purchased this boat are highly experienced and surely must have reasons for the cockpit being designed as it is. I would really like to know why. How else will I and others learn?
nice boat. terrible presentation
ОтветитьI would take the Amel 60 any day over this. I can’t imaging what they were thinking in designing a coastal or island design for offshore sailing but even worse the cabins are laid out like crew quarters nothing like a coastal or island hopper boat. This has got to be the weirdest boat. Maybe with the bimini and spray hood installed it looks more like an offshore.
ОтветитьAs sexy as this boat is, I would still go with the Amel 60.
ОтветитьJaw-dropping...
ОтветитьMoney no object ? Well then it will have to be the Baltic Canova 142
ОтветитьPlease hire a film student to help.
ОтветитьPrice tag is what?
ОтветитьGorgeous boat! Happy sailing.
ОтветитьPlenty of stoowage
Ответить🇫🇮
ОтветитьIsn't there an option for a roof while driving??? A little shade from the sun...
ОтветитьSpeaking of couples: Who wants a wife if he can enjoy the silence on this boat?
Ответитьwhat happens when a carbon boat crashes a dark night with an abandoned and floating shipping container in steel!? 🥶🙄 seriously... think of all carbon bicycle crashes, there is nothing left of those bikes at all! carbon bend and give in to any crashes, being far out in the ocean on a carbon yacht and suddenly crash into something... You are gone! gonna sink in minutes or how to understand carbon boats!?? I just don't trust weak materials no matter how light and efficient they are!
ОтветитьDid it have a galley? where are the other rooms,? not a good video, missing many important things on board. Plus did not look like a sturdy boat. I bet it bounced a lot in rough season, it being light in weight. A wooden boat would ride the seas better.
ОтветитьI love the view from the stern, you can see how well she flows through the water. There is very little wake coming out the back. Also, could not but help note how precise the autopilot was, it makes constant changes to the wheel like it is actually reading the wind. Thumbs up !
ОтветитьThe interior is very underwhelming. Thier smaller boats always had better interiors.
ОтветитьOnly for the arrogant elite.
ОтветитьMagnificent yacht but this guy isn't that much enthusiast. I felt he's trying to sell me a used car
Ответитьcomming from the working class I always dreamt about a boat like this but how on earth can you buy a boat for 5mil € +
ОтветитьNo protection from the sun and bad weather in the cockpit for the helmsmen. Good for a movie. Capt. Jack
ОтветитьNice presentation
ОтветитьOh
ОтветитьSlick lines, probably very fast yacht but the helm is far to exposed for long passage, the interior is very disappointing, the master bedroom is awful and the general feel is they compromised comfort for modern “pure uncluttered” looks.
ОтветитьNot a fan of the IKEA Surgical Room look….give me something that actually looks like a yacht…especially for that money.
ОтветитьBlue water? Not so sure about that.
ОтветитьWhy do larger yachts require more crew?
ОтветитьMoney no object? Um let me think..... yeah this 67 would be perfect, with another 100ft added and made by wally!
ОтветитьNo thanks! What I dont like,no cover over the cockpit or the helm stations? I wouldn't want to be on this boat while on watch at night in the.middle of the Pacific ocean in stormy weather with no complete enclosed coverage of those helm stations or cockpit just my opinion.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful boat, has this guy ever sailed the deep blue for weeks. All about how pretty it is, how about why it is a good blue water cruiser?
ОтветитьStunning all right...
Ответитьah me waif u are best haw you show laalam me love waif wet mustace lalalla:))
ОтветитьBeautiful Sailing Yacht. Thank you Toby for the tour. I didn’t heat you mention it but is there a option for a Bimini over the cockpit
ОтветитьI’ll take two
ОтветитьMoney no object? I'd talk a shipyard into building another 78 foot Dashew boat. Do another Beowulf with fully refreshed technology.
ОтветитьAbsolutely gorgeous boat... however, I still prefer the style of Oyster! Naturally I can afford none of them! Lol!
ОтветитьNot a patch on oyster interior trim
ОтветитьBeautiful Yacht.
ОтветитьAll yachts are really the vaginas of the seas. Except catamarans, the double vaj's, or the 'vag deuce'.
ОтветитьInterior is quite underwhelming
ОтветитьKeeling depth only ahead of the mast. The lateral resistance ahead of the mast and midpoint between the mast and forestay is the rudder control and sail power of a sailboat design. Ballasted upright and properly keeled headsails and mast. The simple rigging is great and the lean Deck is easy living.
ОтветитьHubba hubba ooh lala. Simple sleak my boat.
ОтветитьIt looks fast on the hook….and it better 😂
ОтветитьIf money wasn't no object. A Hyundia LNG carrier Ship. So I could make more money.
ОтветитьIts stunning to have a yacht like that and to be able to watch the sun set would be a dream come true
ОтветитьBullshit review !😡90% bla bla on space, storage, luxury. Technicity : almost nothing. Performance under sail : absolutely nothing ! Are you a sailor or a real estate agent ???
ОтветитьYour laggy films are terrible to watch. Dont know how you managed to get 10fps but it is horrible.
ОтветитьThe interior is as welcoming as a hotel room. Impersonal and bland.
ОтветитьStyle over substance is my opinion.
