Yea, it is best to try and figure out a good tempo for your song. Then try to match that tempo as close as possible. That makes the quantizing process a lot more effective!

Well it depends... You normally want to quantize depending upon the type of notes you are playing. Here is a ledger to help you out! 1, 2, 3, 4: quantize 1/4 1 & 2 & 3 & 4: quantize 1/8 1 a & e 2 a & e 3 a & e 4 a & e: quantize 1/16 Does that help?

I'M CONFUSED ON HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT NOTES TO PICK FOR EXAMPLE 8TH NOTE OR 16TH WHEN QUANTIZING?
