Good Morning from the UK, Newcastle upon Tyne. Is the Passenger Station being reopened under the Project? I can see the progress on the rebuild of the Railway, looks like a great idea. Thanks in advance. JohnL.

Railway station needs to be reopened on time for Easter in 2025.

Can I just ask? Has there ever been talk of reopening the Castlemungret rail line? I know it’s the Irish Cement line but the traffic on Dock Road to the city in the mornings and evenings is a scandalous joke as they could develop a park and ride facility in Castlemungret. As for the train line to Foynes, there should be collection / drop off point at the Raheen Business park.
