It's nice to listen to while doing desk work. Keeps the restless part of the brain busy, if that makes any sense.

For some reason, when I close my eyes and focus on the sounds, my brain creates some sort of map that tracks the movement of each sound. Plus, I can also pin-point where the sound originated.

You know the famous "bloop" that always shows up on lists of bizarre sounds? I'll bet anything it's sound from a glacier or an iceberg that traveled a thousand miles due to underwater acoustics

The title sounded so odd, I had to check it out.. Though I'm almost sure I've heard recordings of this stuff before.

Sounds like something from a horror movie.. The only thing I can think of is it sounding like whales in a deep dark ocean. And it makes me think of the deep dark abyss under the ice.

Interesting to listen to, but definitely doesn't relax me. Especially with those thoughts.

Back when I was a kid, one of my cousins lived in Prince George, B.C.. I remember we visited my aunt and him in winter once and my dad took me to a nearby lake that was frozen. (My dad is originally from Prince George and is half First Nations, so he knew the lake pretty well.) When we got there, I was about to ask why we were there, but my dad shushed me and said, "Listen carefully, son. Because Mother Earth is talking."

I listened and heard the one of the most beautiful and eerie sounds I ever heard. So, in a way, this brings back memories. It still sounds so alien, but so beautiful.

No wonder people back in the day were superstitious.
If i heard these sounds at night in the winter, not knowing what it is. I would be scared senseless.

I feel like I've been here before, as someone divining the shapes in the ice and the sounds of the song. My great grandparents were from Kiruna, which I know is pretty far north. It must be my Scandinavian blood that perhaps holds memories of my relatives and ancestors. I pray I can get to Sweden eventually, I do have quite a few cousins there!
