Most People Are Scared Of This Tarot Deck

Great to hear a balanced view of the Thoth Tarot and Crowley without the usual associated hysteria and gobbledegook.

I love tarot, occult astrology and kabbal and I even recieved toth deck for christmas one time but I would always get a huge ick whenever I'd try to use it (too bad, because artwork is amazing) I have multiple stories of being psychically attacked by organised groups of satanists and draconians and when I compare the vibe I get from this deck to the vibe those entities made me feel it is suspiciously similar. I decided to rely on Metatron, Merlin and Melchizedek for occult knowledge. Aleister has been way too obsessed with some sort of twisted power struggle with the Universe and I don't believe his knowledge comes from a healthy place. To me he is a posterboi archetype for the extreme measures taken to control outside circumstances using occult knowledge coming from the most unhealthy, hopeless place. That is the worst and most dangerous way to approach magick. In my experience it cuts me off from the Light within. Not in a major way but like ...I cant disconnect the cards from his energy and whole story enough to be able to feel comfortable to do readings with this deck.

If you see AC. birth chart you know why he was like he was. He was a Libra (Venus) with a leo rising his pluto was in taurus (also Venus), obsessed by lust, north node in the 9th, which leads him to create his own religion...makes a lot of sense to me :)

Anyway, thanks for the spooky story__I haven't dealt with tarot cards yet, I felt they might be too difficult to learn. I only have 4 Oracle decks(yours), however, I've been stashing a few interesting looking tarot decks in my Amazon wish list lately. 😛 Your backstory of Alexis' definition of this Thoth deck kind of makes me want to get it! 😱😹
Btw, some Native American tribes have been using the reverse direction of the swastika in jewelry making, etc. long before Hitler used it in the opposite__it is considered a symbol of Peace. Who knew(?). 💩

Thoth tarot was the first tarot system that I studied and only deck I used for a long time so I love it!
