screw AI, find a person to narrate.

Started out good, but kind of lost something along the way.

I’m almost done with this book. The story line is ok but the narration is poorly done. Shannon, Shanan, Shanon…which is it?! Also, the way the numbers are read is annoying. I’m going to finish listening and I’ll pick another to listen to after this. I hope the narration will be better the next one I choose to listen to.

Often time people have replaced them with newer ignitions, so your odds are slim.

I may be wrong but I suspect this narrator/reader, is AI, why? because the mispronunciation of names and words; making the story less engaging.
However, the story is interesting and the topic “EMP”is as well.

Got to be AI for sure. That being said, it's the best AI narrator I've heard yet. But nothing beats a real person.

And how do these rich kids come to stay in a very primitive cabin with no electricity and communication without having any idea where they’re staying? Very strange.

I enjoyed Ai it got some kinks, but that fine.
My on story is there any common sense exists with these people.
Shit hit fan either emp or solo flare. And there in safe cabin i dont known if there well water pump, but just melt snow in the fire places. Now they have guns and that book probably has hunting tips. Best bet especially with crazy asshole trey injured stay at cabin then send two people with the hand gun and keep rifles for hunting.

This is horribly read. I half suspect it's an AI bot doing the reading. You can't even decide on the pronunciation of Shannon. By the third chapter he's read it three different ways, no word of a lie. There's also several logical errors such as an incorrect time difference between the West and East coast, the fact that they make so much out of staying in the famous room from The Shining right around the anniversary of the movie and yet that room was still free to rent, and others. So far it's enjoyable, but only just. Not sure if I'll finish.

These stories are my favorite, and this one is great, thank you for all the free content, that being said, your AI takes away from it. I'm struggling through, frustrating because there's nothing but run on sentences, no natural pauses, It can't even pronounce the name Shannon, very hard to listen to. Haven't made it through the first one and i listen to your stories 24/7 most days.
