Growing up in the USA we learned about Anne Frank. I read her book in school , loaded my copy of the book out to a friend never got it back I will never know . I was fantasized with her story as my Uncle was Jewish so i wanted to learn about the culture . So sad what happened to her. I will have to watch this movie and just use subtitles . It looks interesting

Before watching the trailer I had already read the diary of Anne Frank and Anne definitely mentioned Hannah in her diary saying that she dreamt of her and at annex while hiding Anne wasn't even sure whether Hannah was alive or not and this trailer made me tear up and cry out a whole ocean 😢😢❤

I’ve read Hannah Pick Goslar’s book and this trailer broke my heart knowing how full of life and curious she was. and ‘god knows best, but anne knows better!’ is what hannahs mom always said (im pretty sure)

The whole story of Anne Frank was manufactured... It's based on truly horrific facts but not true in and of itself... Though it does make tens of millions of dollars annually.. The era was terrible but take the emotion out and stop being fooled. Sorry, spoiler alert.

Europe back then looked like a wonderful place sans all the Nazism and Fascism, of course. It was like it was at the crossroads of tradition and modernity.

I saw this movie recently. It was good. But also VERY VERY VERY sad

Netflix should release more of important stories like these. Younger generations need to understand what happened before to not repeat it. TikTok wont teach them sadness and cruelty of the world like history does.
