Crap list... A lot of these are just shounen but with extra gore or extra ecchi. How is it none of these are on the list:
Monster, Baccano!, Hellsing Ultimate, Grand Blue Dreaming, Ghost in the Shell, Genshiken.
These are adult anime, not Yosuga no Sora, Freezing, Elfen Lied, Prison Break, or The Testament of Sister. Those anime are targeted to boys/teens who want to see extra ecchi stuff or gore.

I haven't watched all of these but Freezing and Berserk both have some serious mind fuckery going on with their female characters. Freezing in particular really digs into that later on and it gets pretty dark. If you're not up for watching abuse just skip it.

Freezing was one of the biggest disappointments I’ve seen. They took a potentially great character in Satella and in season 2 turned her into a submissive door mat. It was tasteless and tacky. Not to mention little development with her limiter partner. He was pretty useless.
