I am encountering some issues while importing data from a web API URL to Excel and sharing the file with clients. Specifically, I have the following concerns:

The client needs to establish a connection to fetch data for the first time.
During the connection setup, the API URL is being exposed.

Hi Leila, I opened my workbook a different day, and I’m trying to refresh the “Petroleum Spot Prices” data query, to get the latest prices, but it returns an “[expression Error] The column of the table wasn’t found” error. What do you think I should do?

It's about getting all rows if the web page has a paginated table. when importing data, I'm only getting the first page data.
I need to have all the row's data.
I've searched about it but couldn't find a simple solution to the problem.

is excel 16.77.1 menu different? I am struggling to find "web" option. It says HTML, XML, etc. but no "Web" option.

A question please if i may : After taking some advices from different sources all of them saying that :
"If you want to extract data from a webiste which require authentication ,you cannot do that unless is a base64 encoded ,while the power query doesn't want to "know " more than this type of authentication ...
Is that right ? if yes do you have any suggestion or can you make a short video to show us ? im sure many people they having the same issue like me ...
I couldnt find any solution on the web for this ,and this could be helpful for many of us!

Always good ! We have so many queries using Excel 2007 - and cant find a similar way to create and update ? The columns get inserted , and they dont act similarly... hmmm

That means excel 2013 don't have features of importing data from web

Hi Leila, I love your videos. They're detailed yet, straightforward and to the point. However, in following the tasks associated with the weather example, I am finding that my Power Query (PQ) is only displaying a "document" under the Display Options; I do not have any tables. I'm wondering if I have a missed setting somewhere in Excel/Chrome. Any thoughts on why PQ did not import a table?

While trying to load weather data of New York from website into Power Query, the Navigation panel opens and it only fetches something called 'Document' table and not the 'Table 0' table having 10 days' worth of weather info.
I tried in Excel-2016 and Excel-2019. Didn't work. Please help.

Helo. I have a question related to this.., Can I send data to a edge page with Pwer Query or only retrive? I used to do to Internet Explorer but now I have Edge and I cant do it anymore using VBA.

The down side to getting data from the web is it doesn't work with all webpages.
