Thank you. I was setting up a new device with OpenWRT 23 and was confused why the guest network wasn't working with VLAN anymore. The OpenWRT wiki seems outdated.

Hey, thanks for the video, but i'm stuck trying to add the VLAN to OpenWRT. I go to the Network menu but then I don't have a switch option. I'm new to PfSense/VLans so maybe I need to change/setup some stuff to get that option? I'm running version OpenWrt 22.03.5. Any thoughts?

Great video. I followed this guide successfully, but I wasn't able to ping any other subnets on my network, despite pfsense rules allowing all. Is that the same for you? I think there's a setting in OpenWrt that's restricting it. I've got the firewall turned disabled, so I'm not sure what's blocking it. I keep getting Destination Host Unreachable.

Thank you for this tutorial! 😁 For some reason this is the only method that bridges WLAN clients to their respective VLAN. Guides using other methods result in WLAN connectivity without connectivity to the VLAN, so no DHCP/PING/Internet.

This is interesting, but I notice you are still using the switch method of setting up your VLAN instead of the DSA VLAN Filtering that I have on my device.
