The evening before hurricane Harvey hit Houston a buddy and myself where down on Galveston island and the winds where already EXTREMELY powerful, palm trees bent, branches and trash flying through the roads and we flew a Phantom 4 Pro in that wind and rain, hundreds of feet up and filmed out into the ocean and basically watched as Poseidon himself was getting angry. Drone flew great, insane video we got and all the water never messed it up.

You aint lying about check it on the map. Loved it. Now when there's a gps glitch from the DoD monkeying around to screw up a Chinese balloon then the drone fly's off to where the gps got fooled into thinking it is at 20 miles away......well.....

I've got an original Mavic Mini and if someone 3 miles away blows a candle out it throws wind warnings and threatens to be unable to land.

Did it even occur to you to use a soft stick for the nudge tests rather than your finger? :) Great fun video.

this wasnt a fair comparison if you think of the level of wind the mini was facing, should have used a small shop vac on exhaust or something, or used a professional radial fan against the large drones.

learned something new, didnt know a drone knew how to keep its place in the air when knocked or blown.

would get the m3 but its too much for me it gets really windy in Clacton most the time I have the new M3P now
