CZECHOSLOVAKIAN WOLFDOG - Everything you need to know! DogCastTV!

I don't really get it. I'm curious about this breed, I've heard they were bred to be working dogs, but they aren't good working dogs, they also aren't the best family pets because they are high drive, they aren't good guard dogs and certainly not good around livestock, they basically are just a wolfy looking pretty dog, but completely useless. I feel like they should have abandoned this experiment

So basically they should have never interbred the wolf and dog. Beautiful animal but I hate to see humans interfere with breeding this way.

They are good guard dog?

Talked with a few owners of Chezch Wolfdogs, and not one of them mentioned 20h supervision, even if its the only dog in the household. It was usually an hour in the morning, and a few in the evening. Would like to see a person spending that much time with dogs...
