We all can't get enough of Luke Combs' phenomenal cover of Tracy Chapman's iconic 1988 song ✨
Question: What was one of your favorite songs growing up?
Q
ОтветитьI love this song so much
ОтветитьYoull find work and ill get permoted and we'll move outta longview i know things will get better hope
ОтветитьThis cover is objectively better than the original. It's not even close lol.
ОтветитьWhy would you ruin a perfectly good song sellout?
ОтветитьLove ❤️ ⭐️💯🏆👍
Ответитьpeople calling this a cover doesnt know music luke combs wrote in 1961
ОтветитьForgot all about this until now with Luke bringing it back to life. My grandsons really love Luke. Thus this old rock and roller must adapt.
ОтветитьI love you Alex
Ответитьlove this song
ОтветитьI-I HAD A FEELING I COULD BE SO ME ONE🖤👁🤍🌬🌈👻 The Mo Ye Feel, The Mo Real I Am~IC~InnerChild~ImmaculateConcept
ОтветитьI wack my worm to this video
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьCountry music and singers were not on top of my list, but this is already a classic in my books
ОтветитьThat musical hook sounds sort of zepplinish 3rd album
ОтветитьGreat song... full of poignancy, longing, hopes, resignation and sadness. I was skeptical that a male country artist could do it justice, but I really liked Luke's rendition.... it's respectful to Tracy, yet his own. Kudos for not changing the lyrics. No need, it's not a gender based song, it's about what people go through. I have Tracy's original recording.
ОтветитьU GOTTA FATTEST CAR
ОтветитьTHIS LEGANANRY SONG DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED AND SANG! 😊 LUKEY!! ❤
ОтветитьLove both versions
ОтветитьThis song is for everyone. 1% of people own 70% of the property and money. They loan money, that they print out of nothing, for the rest of us to try to survive. This is a story of that basic survival in this system. It is not about race. It is about rich psychopaths hurting others for their own good. This song is about the pain and quiet desperation that the rich psychopaths cause.
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьWhen I first heard this song I thought it said fat cock 😭
ОтветитьLuke combs does it way better
ОтветитьThank you for honoring Tracy
ОтветитьThis song make anyone else feel like kinda sad? Like u couldve done better in ur live and time is just slipping away? Wishing u did better?
ОтветитьRarely is a cover better that the original, but this one is.
ОтветитьGreat song ❤Love his version of this song best
ОтветитьOof... Swing and a miss. Nothing touches Tracy's original. This version is missing a lot of the emotion, body and soul that made the og song so good.
ОтветитьMeh. Love the original.
ОтветитьIn my best Greta voice: HOW DARE YOU!!
ОтветитьCame here thinking I would hate it but I didn’t. Luke did a respectable job with this song
ОтветитьI love both versions 💞
ОтветитьWhy didn't he change "work as a check out girl"?
ОтветитьI was 22 years old when this song was released by Tracy Chapman… so many memories
ОтветитьThank u tracy chapman and luke combs. Because of this song i was able to write a poem about my own fast car too.
ОтветитьHe struggles with Tracy’s tempo. The original will always be the one. Nice attempt though.
ОтветитьWe need a duet from tracy and luke to shut up these morons about which ones better and which ones trash. He did this song justice and is letting a new generations ears hear a classic song while fans of tracys get to enjoy her song again. Its still her song hes not singing it as if its his. Hes shown nothin but respect for tracys original even goin as far as not changing the lyrics even tho hes a man and the arrangement is similar to tracys aswell
ОтветитьDear Luke.
Sadly, Kane Brown's music career is finally coming to an end. Because even little kids (3 to 5 years old) can sing way better than him, besides he has no idea what country music is. He simply got into the easiest genre of music that would accept him! I don't want to be rude, but America will never consider him as a singer. For example, "Thank God" and "Bury me in Georgia" sound really weird and odd, don't even sound like music. Kane Brown's voice is not marketable in Country Music industry or any other genre. Get rid of him from country music. He can't sing.
Love this song ❤
Ответить😭😭❤
ОтветитьThis is an epic reconstruction of a classic. No wonder you were allowed to do this. 😊❤❤❤
ОтветитьI dont like country and western generally.
But i do like this Cover.
This was well done.
It hits different........
For God so loved the world he gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life -John 3:16. I love you all but God loves y’all more🙏🏼❤️✝️
ОтветитьTo all of you people whining back and forth about whose version is better. No one gives a shit. Music is music with your crybaby asses 😂
ОтветитьOG version makes you cry. This one people will just make ppl trip over their feet trying to dance to it.
ОтветитьWhy didn't he at least change the word checkout girl to check out guy? Geez, ruined it. Or is he identifying as a she now? 🤣
ОтветитьBoth versions are amazing. Thanks
ОтветитьI've loved this song since it came out. Tracy Chapman ❤. Luke does it well. I'm impressed. I love all music.
