This guy is really underrated, I have taken several courses online by different tutors and I can tell you that John is by far the best tutor I ever come across. He teaches in such a way that you will understand everything step by step.

hi John
im not sure why I cannot make changes on my settings for visual studio code. My VSC is defaulted to size 26 font. I tried to change the font size in settings to 22 but I get an error message : Unable to write into user settings. Please open the user settings to correct errors/warnings in it and try again.

When I click open settings it takes me to the settings page and I see a list of codes in very big fonts ( size 26).

I don't know how to fix this:(

Only a couple of hours in but already happy to say that this is top quality. Wish I'd discovered this guy when I first started trying to learn web development. Lots of courses give you the theory; lots of courses fire projects at you without really explaining what they're doing. John Smilga totally nails both theory AND practice. Tons of clear instruction backed up with interesting projects. No BS, no lame attempts at humour, no annoying background music, just 100% meaty goodness. Sure, you still need to put in the work and get mashing those keys, but no course will ever do the work for you. Highly recommended.
