Arnel Pineda with Journey • Live in Chile 2008

The drums are way to loud and the drummer seems off beat way to many times IMHO . Journey songs will always be great to hear and Arnel keeps Journey alive. Steve should be happy with this mans voice sounding so much like him.

Thanks for sharing this , the first concert after joining Journey, I could tell you were nervous in the first song. The mic volume felt off..I don’t know why performers dress dark when the stage is dark.

Wheel in the sky, at 23 minutes into the concert, is the moment where you can see that everyone--in the band, in the audience--realized, "Wait a minute, this guy might be a rock star!" hahaha.

Arnel does not get the credit he deserves but he's been carrying the flag now fifteen years. Recorded Three studio albums which in my opinion were all phenomenal. The only problem is when you're in a band like this and they had so many amazing hit with a guy that is known as The voice Steve Perry then that's all everyone's going to want sadly. Radios not going to play a legacy band like this and all three of the albums in my opinion are right up there with the four that Steve Perry recorded with the band. There's a song on eclipse called to-whom-it-may-concern and in my opinion is the greatest journey song ever.

Para mim as melhores apresentações do journey com Arnel são a do Chile em 2008 e Manila 2009.

For someone who knows Arnel would easily notice that he's freaking out during the opening song. I bet the rest of the band noticed that as well. But he nailed in end. I like the way Cane reacted after Arnel hit that last high note in "Separate Ways", he raised his hand as if to say "He did it, yeah!" 😊
