for anyone wondering, if dornans "510 years" is accurate that means a suit of advanced power armor mark 1 would cost $11,735,712 in todays money if the player is an E1 private the entire time and all their pay is dedicated to paying off the missing power armor. incase you are wondering how much that would be in the fallout universe it would be about $117,357,120 based on my estimates

Okay, so, I did some probably wrong math just to get a ball park figure of the salary of FIVE HUNDRED FUCKING YEARS.
2077 inflation for this conversation is like 400%, apart from gas/coolant bc the gov't needed that for the war cri-effort, effort.
I have two possible shot in the dark while piss drunk numbers:
One keeping with the 400% inflation (and if the 0% chance income kept up with it)
and one with the Enclave, now basically being the only backer of the USD (probably), who decides inflation cant exist if you dont have enough people to inflate the economy! (they shredded vaults apart without remorse, but hey, a beer is 2 bucks!) and makes the salary of like an average infantryman, which I think is like 30,000? Vets and active duty can correct me on that, maybe the govt is like nah we dont wanna pay you.

NUMBER 1: $61,200,000 USD on a $120,000 salary (keeping with 2077 inflation, well, actually STOPPING, bc there was this whole war...)
