Funny enough, there was a point in Earths history, where lightning strikes were pretty similar to this. The Carboniferous period. Oxygen content in the atmosphere was so high, a lighting strike would literally cause an explosion, and a massive fire.

I would make it so it summons arrows on fire, anvils, primed tnt, tnt minecarts, honey blocks and slime 24 each and also does 1 damage + flings you 5000000 blocks in the air
