Ответитьi feed my guppy fish with mosquito larvas
ОтветитьCan you pour bleach in it lol
ОтветитьCool! Never knew mosquito larvae can be fish food.
ОтветитьSo if I harvest the mosquito larva from a fish free body of water there is no chance to transfer parasite or disease to my fish?
ОтветитьI was surprised to find some in my scud tank. I thought the scuds would eat the eggs.
Ответить👌🏻👌🏻
ОтветитьHey, I breed guppies, I usually feed the adults with 2-day old mosquito larvae once a week. I was wondering if I can feed one-day-old mosquito larvae to guppy fry aging 1-7 days old.
ОтветитьI don’t have fish I only have tadpoles and mosquito larvae and I was wondering if the tadpoles will eat them
ОтветитьCan I feed my molly fishes with live maggots?
ОтветитьMy praecox go bonkers for these.
ОтветитьHi.
Is it possible to have the larvae around all the year?
I got mine from a hole in our apartment grass, so just do what you said and my fish will be ok?
ОтветитьTell ya this fish keeping hobby is cool u learn something new every day I'm gonna do this for my apistogramma cacatuoides 🙂
ОтветитьCan larvae eat fry? Guppy fry
ОтветитьDo you think smaller fish like maculata rasboras could also eat those?
ОтветитьThey used as bait
ОтветитьGreat video mate. I just subscribed. Greetings from Trinidad 🇹🇹
ОтветитьI love this channel! 💕
ОтветитьCan you get the larvae and eggs from your outdoors mosquito-baiting water pan before they gestate into adults? They have very fast life cycles, depending on the species of mosquito. I know the average gestation is a week or so, but man, some of them gestate hella fast.
Also, I am not so certain about that water-dumping. It seems like some of the water might collect on nearby plants and some of the larvae or pupae might just survive out of sheer luck of not being completely cut from water.
Do you sell these? I gave mosquito eggs to my betas. They loved them! But now I can't find anymore! And I even put buckets of standing water but there's nothing! And now my betas are mad at me! They want more mosquito eggs!😬😛😬
ОтветитьWonder if they can be frozen & fed to fish in winter, instead of buying frozen food?
ОтветитьDo you have to sterelise them
ОтветитьYou could also put a jar with water outside so the mosquitos lay their eggs in there
ОтветитьI love this guy and the outro so SANSational 😂
ОтветитьI thought the ones with big heads were some other kind of larvae , but theyre one and the same lol
ОтветитьYou can start a Food Channel for fishes.
Americans across the US would put all their fish aquarium in front of the tv.
The ratings will fly high!
sir can i feed mosquitoes larvae to my 4 days betta fry pls reply :) thanks
Ответитьhappy music as thousands of mosquito larvae die :)
Ответитьfor your fishes*
ОтветитьYeah, you got subscribe
ОтветитьIs there any risk of parasites disease to my fish? I'm planning to do this in the summer for my betta.
Ответитьi can make others survive can i?
Ответитьthese would be excellent for feeding to salamander larvae
ОтветитьLove your videos! Screw those blood suckers!
ОтветитьGood video. Now I can harvest the larvae and set it on fire cause I don't have a pet fish.
ОтветитьIn my country if you're caught having mosquito larvae no matter what species it is, you'll be fined $125 on the spot. There's a dengue fever epidemic here.
ОтветитьToo bad this won’t help mosquitos horrid population here in Alaska. There are so many bodies of water and creeks and rivers everywhere, I’m afraid I can’t control our issues lol. But I will for fact be doing this, this spring.
ОтветитьCool thanks mate
ОтветитьRight now i had to plug the insetticide against mosquitos . They have became a nightmare here in Sicily . I remember when I was a kid mosquitos appeared on about May and ended in September . Now they are around all year round , even now that we are nearly in Christmas time . I'd love my fish to hate many of them . I actually , among all my fish , have a gambusia holdbrooki ( mosquito fish ) that I keep in a little tank in my balcony hoping she would kill some mosquito larvae .i think mosquitos nowadays are more resistant than they used to be , also because some tropical species have arrived till here like the tiger mosquitos . If I had a pond I'd put loads of gambusia holdbrooki or kois . What species you think is better in a pond to destroy mosquito larvae ? Gambusia or koi ?
ОтветитьMy guppies would love them . And Molly and Swordtail . And also my betta would love it .
ОтветитьAside from the fishes, I also feed these to my Chinese red belly newts. I usually feed them earthworms which I failed culturing. I will have to try start culturing earthworm again.
ОтветитьAnother good video! Dang California desert doesn't have many of these, though. lol
ОтветитьThis is what I feed my fish. I have a pond with daphnia and, naturally, mosquito larvae. Everyone loves it!
I also figured out that introducing daphnia to the pond slashed the mosquito population. I am guessing the daphnia took all the resources since they're both feed from the water column.
I do it all the time. My bettas and tetras love it! More people need to try this out.
ОтветитьI must say that you have an amazing beard
ОтветитьThis is great! I have a lot of mosquitos in my garden from various bowls that collect rain water plus all the population that breed in nearby rice paddies. Now all I need is a brine net. I have seen my pond dwelling fish eating mayflies and other small insects such that they remain healthy through the summer feeding on that and the resident algae. Thanks for sharing this!
