imagine if they did this every time to save a buck on fuel cost XD make everyone have a heart attack during flight!
ОтветитьThe pilots were simply idiots.
Ответить
ОтветитьPilota shembullore, artista te jashtezakonshme ishalla u befshin te gjith pilotet si Keta te dy,bravo.❤
Ответитьfrom a butter machine to ryanair
ОтветитьI live in Newfoundland, which is really near
ОтветитьNow it cost them a plane , mon ey embarassment , pub lic doubt
And fear.
Always the same. When it costs too much, the safety doesn't matter.
ОтветитьIt Take a mécanic membres of the crew
Ответить😢😢😢
ОтветитьThese pilots is amazing. Even though, they made some errors some said, but in the end the fact they landed safely and saving around more than 300 passengers lives in one faithful day. Respect to the both pilots and the crews.
ОтветитьI appreciate the disclaimers throughout the documentary stating that the retelling is based on known facts and details.
ОтветитьIt was God's miracle when some of them prayed.
ОтветитьI can't imaging the"o shoot" feeling when the second engine on an airbus 380 at 30,000 feet drops the second engine and everything goes quiet except for the sounds of the airframe creaking.
ОтветитьThe first thing that I thought when they suspect a leak and the right engine keep loosing fuel, is the need to closed the cross-feed to prevent further loose of fuel from left engine as well! But they did nothing! Even after suspecting that right engine keep loosing fuel, they just keep the cross feed open and as if "making sure" that the left engine lost their fuel too. I'm glad that the investigator didn't just brush off this and the commentator pilot also mentioned this simple logic. I'm glad there's no victim in this accident but hopefully the pilots and the airways company learn their lesson.
ОтветитьLA MUSICA EN EL VIDEO MOLESTA NO DEJA ESCUCHAR BIEN LOQUE DISENPOR FAVOR QUITEN LA MUSICA DEL VIDEO GRASIAS. SI LOS PILOTOS NO BAN A CREE EN LAS COPUTADORAS PUES QUE PILOTEEN UN AVION QUE NO LAS TENGA SIEMPRE ENTAN CREYENDO QUE LAS COMP ESTAN MAL QUE ES UN ERROR.

ОтветитьI’d like more episodes where EVERYONE SURVIVES.
ОтветитьCanada has the best glider pilots, Gimli and Atlantic 😂
ОтветитьDo they check underwears after these types of landings for skid marks?
ОтветитьIt should be called FLYING WITHOUT FUEL.
ОтветитьDream on!
ОтветитьLike once a year, Pilots should be required to do like 5 hours of jet engine studies. Like just so they know exactly how one operates and could maybe better understand checklists and steps.
Ответитьim so glad that evreyone if ok!
ОтветитьAfter watching a series of flight docus, i think I too can fly. Infact last night I flew an airbus and landed where I took off!
ОтветитьThe first thing they should have done was to shut down the crossfeed. They knew problem was in right number 2 engine so why risk losing fuel from both tanks. The plane could fly to land on one engine and they had fuel remain in left tank. Seems they did not shut off cross feed so the left tank was emptied by the leak also.....common sense not used here.
ОтветитьWhen you see interviews with crew or passengers at least you know it didn’t end in total tragedy.
ОтветитьWhen an episode is so old that the us airways water landing hadn’t even happened yet. Man this show is old. But I still love it and need more and hope it stays on the air. I want to see more older accidents get some focus.
ОтветитьYeimi is in portugal
ОтветитьPlane survive = Fault maintenance
Place blast = Fault of Piolet
Now i know what is going on
ОтветитьI already watch this
ОтветитьFlying scare me and I won't fly unless I have to,
ОтветитьIt was revealed later on that due to faulty maintenance of right engine which leads increase in oil prrssure and lead to fuel leakage very fastly and pilots were not agreeing on computer warnings . Ok but in last pilots shown their experence and saved life of passengers.
ОтветитьI just watched this on air disasters on Hulu, this is nothing short of amazing. Any pilot that undergoes a situation like this and keeps complete professionalism and saves that many lives should immediately be given a full retirement package with the ability to keep flying. As well as a bonus equal to half the value of the airplane and in math the math equal to the value of each and every person's life on the plane as a bonus. Chivalry is one thing, but what he did was completely outstanding and unprecedented.
So many of these air disasters you see or accidents or pilot air, but this was just simply amazing. Very professional pilot.
And it wasn't any fault of maintenance mechanics whatever- they're just following instructions
ОтветитьHe put the tail in the water the water pressure make it out of balance
ОтветитьDivine intervention
ОтветитьYou made me scared now flying in flight simulators so I won’t loose any points 😢😅
ОтветитьHopefully my last observation will be, coming from a background up. Only working on aircraft and automated flight Control Systems as well as teaching Pilots how to do specific things with specific aircraft that are not necessarily in the books. Don't depend on a checklist that doesn't exist. If you have indications of a problem with work the problem like you were trained to figure it out. If you don't have a checklist that applies to it, figure something out you can't do that, you don't belong in the seat. The first officer warned him multiple times that they were leaking fuel leaking fuel leaking fuel leaking fuel leaking fuel. The captain wouldn't hear it.
ОтветитьOil pressure anomaly will not indicate a fuel leak. That is absolutely correct. Not even aircraft engines that use a fuel as the lubricant for the engine, should that be an issue. Because of fuel was usually in there in a much higher pressure oil was because it's viscosity is much thinner. The first indicator of fuel loss was that 15 minutes after they had done if you'll check which showed everything was good they had gotten an indication that they had considerably less fuel in the right tank than the left hanging. Whether he thought was a computer glitch or not the captain failed to act on a clear indication of fuel loss and they're right fuel tank and failed to act accordingly. And then exacerbated the problem by sending fuel from the left tank to the leaking right tank.
ОтветитьIf this flight occurred anything like what is presented in this video this Captain should have been removed from service and questioned as to why he ignored virtually every warning the first officer gave him. The fact that you had a problem 15 minutes after you knew your fuel was in trim, was an indication of a severe fuel leak on the right side wing. Argue that the fuel check was fine therefore there was no leak is maniacal to say the least it is no wonder the flight crew did not want to talk about this incident.
They had the option at the first indication, to transfer all of the fuel remaining in the right and Wing tank to the left-wing tank and shut off the right hand engine and fly to a controlled Landing.
Putting the wrong hydraulic pump on the engine, should not have to be even something that should have never been considered.
I have seen so many documentaries that I can at least do inspection.
ОтветитьDaniel Rodrigues was hilarious. 😂
ОтветитьThis documentary was clearly before the miracle st the Hudson right?
