If anyone is wondering why the custom terrain option is not showing up, go to terrain, click the "+" and there'll be an option to open custom terrain from file. Since there is no "ok" option for completing the custom terrain window, you have to save. So now take that save and open it. It will then create a new window for custom terrain.

This is gold! We're just getting started setting up our own server, and the first thing I wanted to do was design the map... thanks for putting this together!

I don't have a mouse I just use the one built in my laptop so how do I make the area of the brush bigger?

Looking for assistance here because I can't seem to find the answer in need on line. I've watched this first video (EXCELLENT stuff, by the way. Thank you!) and followed step by step what you showed, but still don't have the option to play the map in Minecraft. I'm using Bedrock edition, Windows PC, tried saving map to different location (including the default .minecraft folder); can't seem to get it right. Any genuine assistance is appreciated. help, when i select the sand like he did at the start of the video it just makes the whole world sand instead of water and if i make it water then i can't place anything with the height tool it just raises the water like mountains but doesn't place any land pls help

I tried to open world painter after I put the brushes in the files but it said that it couldn't read the configuration file

I added the brushes in, now the program wont open.

The paintbrushes caused worldpainter to use up too much memory and not allow it to start. I removed some and it worked

i can't help but comment before the end of the video...... winrar??? even in 2019 when you made this video you should've known better. 7-Zip. It does everything WinRAR does plus more, and faster, has more options, and is free and open source. it's also on ninite for convenience.

nice tutorial, but i think you ruined world painter for me. the file size fo the brushes were WAY too big, and I could never locate the brush files so I could delete it without opening the world painter, but it wouldn't open due to its file size. I've been working on this for about two hours now and I've given up.

edit: I finally figured out how to fix it! if you're having trouble, run the safe mode of world painter in the apps when you press windows, and delete it from there!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN INSTALLING CUSTOM BRUSHES. If you install too many your computer will have a lot of issues loading Worldpainter and may even run out of RAM.

My world painter said it could not open the brushes file. Any help?

Just recently tried this but for some reason my world painter isn't wanting to load up properly. Takes a very long time to load it. I took the files out and then it ran up smoothly. Any idea why this would happen or how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated! Awesome work as always!
