ОтветитьHello, professor
I am SRY SREN from Cambodia.
I found the below sentence in one of your teachings:
"Because phrasal verbs are idiomatic and figurative, understanding their grammatical structure, and importantly, how to use them in speech and writing, is tricky and confusing. "
May I ask you why the comma is used before the verb "is" here?
Thank you in advance.
Respectfully Yours
You are the best
ОтветитьThank u so much!!!

ОтветитьMam I read this topic for many times from various sources but today I have found best ever explanation for this topic thanks a lot to you for making an excellent video
ОтветитьLet me download this video
ОтветитьLove your video lessons. They are far superior to all the others. But in the sentence "I don't know the reason why he hates me." another channel said this was a noun clause. Yet you cannot substitute a pronoun for the clause as you stated that you needed to be able to do for it to be a noun clause. Are there exceptions to that rule? I thought it would be an adj clause since it was next to the noun reason which I think it modifies, or could the clause be functioning as an indirect object? Thank you.
ОтветитьI love your teaching method and I will like to learn more if you have a full course online or in person ! Thank you 🙏🏼
