Amana Tool RC-2255-TG is a better bit for surfacing. It will reduce tearout.
ОтветитьExcellent, congratulation
What cnc machine is?
Epoxy board for the fails
ОтветитьWhat press do you use for glueing ?
ОтветитьLove that finger pocket bit 🤌🏻
ОтветитьI am ordering a Onefinity Elite Foreman. I like the dust boot you are using. Is it made by PWNCNC? Which version is it?
ОтветитьLove your stuff!!!
ОтветитьAwesome work! Do you have a video or any info on your press you use for inlay glue up?
ОтветитьHey there. Amazing work. I’m just getting into this and am seeing huge carving times (a coaster says it will take 13+ hours ). I have the 1/32 but you seem to use and was wondering if you use a clearing tool. Also what kind of carve times do you see on the vcarves? Just trying to get a sense of whether I’m way off. Thanks.
ОтветитьTo make those kind of designs, what software do you use?
ОтветитьCould you share what you use to do your pressing of the inlay? I was looking at a harbor freight Press or building something with a screw type press.
Ответитьregular 1F has that function, MDI return to coordinates. Does not need to be Elite.
ОтветитьMan these looks great! I don't know if you mentioned it but what is the actual thickness of the lines? I guess maple, walnut are the best for these type of inlays? Keep up the good work!
Ответитьwe need more of this thanks
ОтветитьGreat job
ОтветитьHow do you create the inverse of the crv file to make the inlays?
ОтветитьEver since I have gotten my CNC I have been wanting to do inlays! I have been nervous to try because I’m just not sure what wood to use for test cuts that aren’t gunna cost crazy amounts. Maple and walnut are def my goto’s! I might reach out and ask some questions if you have some time ! Loved the project thanks so much !
ОтветитьPromo-SM
ОтветитьI've been using the Amana rc-2267 for about 3 years. Little to no tear out on end grain, and a great overall surfacing bit. Great job on the cutting boards
ОтветитьKinda off Subject but i cant wait for onefinity elite upgrade that controller has so many nice upgrades.
ОтветитьHi Jeff -- curious why you are using a 6mm shaft instead of 1/4"(46280) - other than the 6mm version has ~50% smaller tip? Does the standard ER20 (or are you using ER16?) collet handle both? Thanks -- keep up the great work.
Ответитьgood
ОтветитьYour hands are tiny!
ОтветитьI really need to make some end grain boards. It's been about a year and I'm feeling the itch. I need to water pop more often. I'm so bad about it on boards.
ОтветитьWhat do you use to tint you CA glue? Its a great idea to know exactly where you've laid it down. Appreciate it!
ОтветитьThose turned out fantastic! I really like the maple and cherry one. I know it’s inconsistent, but I like it.
ОтветитьMy inlays are not perfect yet. However, after watching this, I think its because I do not pay enough attention to the vectors. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьWhy did you use tape & CA glue on the inlay cut instead of fence and pvc rails that you used on the cutting boards? I haven’t had any issues using parallels but I’m glad you mentioned that it doesn’t auto save. I haven’t tried inlays yet but would love to. Great video!
ОтветитьMan those came out killer! Love seeing all the cuts of meat on each animal, what a great idea. Appreciate the shout out brother 🙏
ОтветитьGrab a used thinkpad laptop a t480 or t490 is like 200 bucks and has windows installed, they are super easy to work on and parts are dirt cheap👌
ОтветитьAn inlay of a dog with funny labels for their parts like happiness meter for the tail floor cleaner for the mouth etc would be cool.
ОтветитьI like the Cow best the contrast looks amazing. My wife liked the pig board best. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьThat’s so cool. How deep are the inlays? They look super deep.
ОтветитьHey Jeff I know it’s a lot of dialing in but could you tell me your ballpark speeds and feeds for the bit? I can tell your going much slower then I have been and I’m not getting good results. So that’s probably the issue. Any help is huge!
ОтветитьDo you ever use Easel anymore? Years ago you told me to start out on it and I’ve never jumped over to V -Carve, tell me I should cuz I’m nervous to change. Haha. Thanks for all you do man!
ОтветитьWhich board is your favorite?
ОтветитьThe larger profile handle bit looks good!
ОтветитьThanks very much for your time doing this vid. You’re very good….and I have a new CNC. LOL@me.
