I'm only playing Core Fighters atm, but if you want to fight someone on PS4, hit me up. DarknessBroly is my name, though searching The Turbanator should find me too.

I wish fighting games weren't version/costume whores. Game X comes out, then X Ultra, then X Super Ultra and so on. You're teased with shadowed-in character slots and outfits you can't use. Apparently $60 games are now demos, and in the case of Doa5 you need to pay several hundred dollars if you want everything the game has to offer. This is partly why I've decided to entirely skip the new generation (doing PC only) and stop buying DLC altogether. If a game isn't good enough on its own without DLC, I'm not going to buy it, and I don't do subscriptions or free-to-play and pay-to-win.

Although I do love Doa5 Ultimate (with the LR update minus characters and outfits) on the 360.

Finally, I'm glad that the online mode to DOA 5: Last Round was great...Team Ninja & Tecmo finally fixed the lag! I already do realize that the Dead or Alive Franchise has the worst online mode with lag in history! I'm happy to trade Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate so I can get the last round when I'm done with all of the achievements.

Cal me prejudice against free to play players, but I hate playing this against people that only have the free version. I preordered and got Last Round on PS4 day 1 back in February. I told my one friend about it and I downloaded core fighters. 5 months later and he's still just using the free version. It kind of sickens me

I've never played doa before so and I dont care for boob physics because I can look up porn. I just want a good fighter and a lot of characters and costumes. Is this game worth the $39.99 ?
