ОтветитьHi Erin, this was very helpful thank you! When I have track changes turned off on both documents, I can copy and paste the comments/track changes. However, it doesn’t show that I have done this. I need to second document to show the track changes and comments but also to show that I have updated the document in this way. How do I get that to work? Thank you!!
ОтветитьI tried this and it still does not show the mark-ups when I paste.. any additional things I should check??
ОтветитьThe comments still didn't transfer over, and I can't find "Keep Source Formatting" when I click on Paste. Any other suggestions?
ОтветитьHow I can insert the same comments into 800 files without opening
ОтветитьI don't suppose there's any way to do this from word into outlook?

ОтветитьThank you Erin! This is so useful!

ОтветитьClearly explained. I learned several things. I was unclear how to know if Track Changes was on or off. Also I have now successfully copied text with Track Changes edits and comments. Thank you. I subscribed and a thumbs up.
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!
ОтветитьLucid. I think you've made a model for software instructional videos that is well worth following. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you for the videos. I was wondering if you could help me with a problem I'm having. I often have to manage multiple versions of the same document that contain comments and track changes. Each version has comments from a different person. I am able to combine the different documents, with the comments, into one. When I do this each comment has the name of the person who added it. However, when I save the merged file and open it again the comments no longer contain the name of the person who commented and all the comments are attributed to "Author". Is there a way to keep the name of the person who added each comment after the file has been merged and saved?
ОтветитьGreat video. Very helpful and well produced! :)
ОтветитьThank you for putting this together. Simply and clearly put--saved me hours of extra work!
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьHi. Do you have info on transferring text from a website into Word? I'm having trouble using Track Changes once text is copied and pasted. Thanks!
