Thanks
ОтветитьHow long does the metal take to harden? Like do I have to hold the wire in place?
ОтветитьBrilliant, and gives me confidence to replace battery in my Garmin 910XT sports watch. The battery has three wires red, black and green. Is there any chance of damaging the battery by the sequence (rgb <> gbr <> brg ) of soldering? I worry because the new battery may be partially charged, the Iron is earthed, and the watch circuitry has no visible internal Isolation Switch (all the on/off/etc functions are via the micro chip circuitry).
ОтветитьYou got some steady hands
ОтветитьDoesn't apply to my problem directly, but still answered my question, therefore, solving my problem! Left with a better education than I came for, which one can only get from a real ninja 🥷. I could've stopped early, but instead stayed for your quality presentation!!! Thank you mate! From America!!!
ОтветитьFkng outstanding!👏👏👏👍👍👍
ОтветитьSimple and brilliant solution to making a finer tip. Something I hadn't thought of and can attempt my fix now. Thanks
ОтветитьI swear I started watching this saying...I wont learn anything and the first thing you do is Genius.. wrapping the small wire to make a tiny tip...PURE GENIUS...I just did a mind cartwheel I'm so happy!!!... Thank you
ОтветитьThanks have been battling to solder a chip to a camera lens fantastic help.
ОтветитьThanks for this video. Just fixed a small MP3 player headphone jack using this idea.
ОтветитьVery COoL. Thank you
Ответитьgood video, thanks
ОтветитьThis is genus. Exactly what I was looking for.
ОтветитьIron wire is also usefull or not?
Ответить5 years later and still saving lives. Thanks mate.
Ответитьthanks g bolt! lit vid my sussy man
ОтветитьTip is proper, but damn thats an ugly looking connection. Get it down properly mate
ОтветитьNever woudlve thought about wrapping the tip with wire. Will try it.
ОтветитьCan show me u r camera please
ОтветитьNICE
ОтветитьThat is actually incredibly useful and helpful. Thank you. I’ll be using that.
Ответитьnooo the joint looks cold
ОтветитьLife saver....had to de-solder a pro micro, and had solder stuck in the holes and the smallest iron tip I had wouldn't go all the way through. Thx for this vid!
ОтветитьGood Idea. Thanks you.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI want to male. My wireless headphone so need to buy this one.... Always repaired headphones never bought 😅
ОтветитьWhat's wire rounding?
Ответитьbroooo ultimaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate
Ответитьpussy, file the tip down, heat flow is more reliable. £3 tip , 30 min work will last. an old tip filed is perfect.
ОтветитьGENIUS!
ОтветитьThanks a lot for posting this
Ответитьthanks, i've learned a lot from this vid
ОтветитьWill it work with a copper wire?
ОтветитьThanks for the gems! Wrapping the Iron Tip and the Silicone wire wrap that doesn't burn/crumble. Perfect!
ОтветитьGreat advise, thanks for sharing.
Ответитьwhat size is the copper wire
need to solder wires on eemprom chips and currently struggling
I gather that this was a demonstrative video for micro soldering in general. Good idea coiling the coper wire. However, in this particular example, since you are soldering in the corner of the pcb, you could actually use a soldering iron with a normal tip to do the job. Cheers.
ОтветитьI have just tried the hack after watching this video and got success. Thanks for your great idea.
ОтветитьThanks bud I just need one of those micro scope things
Ответитьexcellent job man
Ответитьi cant wait to try this!
i have a loose micro USB port on an elite xbox controller and the contacts are like 2mm wide 1mm apart and i have an old xbox 360 usb cord i want to install permanently and this is likely the only way i could use my current soldering iron with 1 style of basic large tip
micro usb has 5 connections 5 volt, data +, data -, ID mode detect, and Ground. but the USB cable i have from an xbox 360 controller only has4 connections and the 360 controller wired controller has no 5th connection as ID for USB connection. can anyone tell me if the new xbox one controller really uses the 4th pin micro usb ID connection?? i doubt it as that conection seems to be for usb memory drives communicating with devices but i also happen to know new xbox one controller receive firmware updates and the old 360 wired controllers did not
can nayone tell me the significance of the 4 pin ID / mode selcet connection for new xbox one controllers? cna i get away with just soldering a full size USB in place of the micro USB without the micro usb's 4th pin ID?
did you use flux welding wire? its made out of copper and has a fine pitch usually.
ОтветитьWell done thank you 👍
ОтветитьWhich type of wire round on tip sir ? Can you tell me
ОтветитьYou sound like Korg from Thor: Ragnarok and it makes me very happy.
ОтветитьGreat Video. Thanks man!
ОтветитьThe copper wire's a great tip, thanks for sharing, your comment about better eyesight when you're young reminded me of the time we used to work on miniature devices so small everything had to be done on the screen through the microscope.
ОтветитьSawl-der, I'm not a Brit, so it stands out...cheers!
ОтветитьUse Kapton tape to avoid ESD issues.
