Nice vid, seems like good value, would have been interesting to hear the stock sounds compared to ED3, and also what type of triggers, positioning etc. Appreciate though there’s no end to how much can be included and a limit to what can be squeezed into a video. The open clamps for the rack are a great thing!

Hey Justin, what about the millenium series? have you tried it? Never seen a video of them in your channel although you have mentioned them in some, and they have the mps-1000 by the same price tag which look like a 2k-3k e-drum.

Like the easy set up clamps. Adding a mount to my Roland rack requires alot of disassembly.

It does sound like a direct follow up to a kit that came out 30+ years ago…

This is #1 on my birthday list!

Gear for Music are the most disgusting music company I’ve ever used. A new Alesis Crimson I’d brought had nice hat and snare issues after about a week. I emailed G4M explaining the problem. They accused me of hitting the kit!!!!!!! Exactly 50 (fifty) emails later I received a full refund. This after threatening legal action. Fifty emails! They apologised several times before receiving another mental email accusing me of something. If possible…avoid these greedy bastards.

I’ve been looking into this European company called millennium that has a few e kits that seem amazing for the price, four Tom’s, two dual zone crashes, tree zone ride, real hi hat stand and kick tower for only 550 $. Do you think you could look into them?

They were such a great company and made fabulous acoustic kits... Premier Genista was my dream kit when I was in my teens

Premier should be celebrating 100 years now in 2022. I don’t understand how they can’t pull together decent drums & hardware without them being a ridiculous price. Pretty sad

I'm sad about the demise of Premiere. Back in the 80's I was obsessed with their black shadow line and was going to buy one until the manager of the local music store told me he could get me into high end Pearl for the same money. I went with a Pearl Mark Brzezicki replica set up.

All the names back in the day tried to grab a piece of Simmons market as you obviously know. It's just funny that one small company based in St Albans UK dominated the 80's music industry.

Q: I would love to know if Lemon’s drum pads are any good. They’re plastic body, but they don’t look terrible. They’re really cheap, too. But i dunno if they’re cheap enough that I personally would want to buy one. Is that something you’d be into reviewing? It’d be a public service. (Who knows maybe Lemon would send you one for free?)

The term K.I.S.S should be applied to whoever designed the pads. Being able to change worn out drum pads is essential. After not triggering kick drum while hitting cymbals, "A few days later it magically fixed itself" ? Kiss of death. Still I think a lot of people will buy this kit for the cymbals/hi-hat and pair it with EZ-drummer etc. PS: Agree with Justin, go with the Rolands in this price range. Substance over style.

I've had it for about 2 weeks.It's incredible, although it has limitations.For this price, you get a complete kit from a big company.I recommend it for someone who is recording.

Got this kit for home practice only had it a month and snare pad packed up can’t really hit them hard
