Hii, I have a question. Is it possible to speak on the moment with Subtitle editor and convert that audio to text ?

crazy how bad many of the features are when it comes to subtitling. Like how whisper can't sync up properly or how bad ocr is at reading text from vobsubs/dvdsubs

Faster is not always better. Just like humans, you work fast doing manual jobs, say scaffolding, and accidents happen.

My videos are in Urdu and I want to auto translate from Urdu to English. How can I do it in subtitles edit please tell me.

if not then is therse any free software for converting text to speech for free (including natural human voices)?

I tried both on english audio; the caveat being the audio was heavy with irish/scottish accents. Vosk was adding "I's" everywhere when it was literally just a car idling by in a scene... as detailed with punctuation as vosk was, it would've taken me months to auto-correct everything it messed up. I feel like it took me less time to edit from whisper's transcribing even if I had to add and drag things into it's proper place than have to delete entire entries from vosk altogether. hello, dear david. I tried 3.6.10 again and I followed what you do in your video. I downloaded 3.6.10 with the update. And I followed like you audio to text vosk kaldi and I still don't have a sub title like you. help me please. what i can do with subtitle edit is to extract subtitles from dvds with subtitles, and translate. and nothing more. I hope you will help me. And I haven't even found a program to transkribtion subtitles to buy. Because I can then translate the srt with the subtitel edit. Thanks for that. With some improvements Whisper would really be unbeatable. My only wish is that it used more cores- to max out my CPU I have to use 3 instances of Subtitle Edit at a time (which is fine, I set it like that and had it batch subtitles for about 10 hours straight).
