Honestly David. I think I committed it. I had a few years of faithfulness mixed in with foolish sin when I was about 17. So. I guess not really faithfulness, but…

I heard about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, read about it, and.. spent months praying for it, only for it to never come. I begged and begged. To the point of becoming extremely depressed and suicidal.

I finally separated from God and focused on pleasure, made video games my god. But I always felt convicted of what I was doing. Always felt guilt, shame, and condemnation.

I saw others my age living life with no pain or sorrow equal to mine. So I begged God to leave me alone. I said ‘F your Spirit’. And spent years saying hail satan.

After finally reaping what I sowed, I finally decided to turn back a decade later. However, reading scripture, and seeing Jesus words about blasphemy of the Holy Spirit…

I could really use a word… Please confirm or deny my sin. Someone. Anyone

Hello, I am from Colombia, I would like to ask please, what about the times that I have been sinning and some worship comes to my mind or the verse of the unforgivable sin comes or maybe that the holy spirit its not happy about what im doing and I continue sinning sexually, like silencing its voice and ignoring it? but afterwards I feel bad, but lately it is more difficult for that sin to make me feel bad...

As per Jesus (Mark 3:29), blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can occur only once because it is unforgiveable. If “blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” is insulting Him for consistently prodding people to be saved was unforgiveable, no one could ever be forgiven. Many people reject salvation numerous times during their lifetime until, hopefully, they accept the surrogate sacrifice of Jesus’ Blood as payment for their sins. If blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is rejecting salvation, the first time one rejects such invitation from God, it could never be forgiven. Therefore, the latter cannot be true. Complete context defines this subject, but many who discuss this issue ignored Mark 3:30. Ponder this: How many times did you — the reader of this thesis — personally reject salvation before you were washed by the Blood of the Lamb and received the indwelling Holy Spirit? Only the Holy Spirit knows how many times He was rejected and slandered before one accepted salvation — but He forgave them

I remembered when i was in grade 5, i had the biggest crush on a boy who did drugs and i think i prayed to God to have him but he kept rejecting me. And without a second thought, one night i prayed to Satan to make my crush love me and i was worried that Satan won't grant my wish, i said in my prayer "i speak against you holy spirit" . I don't really remember what happened afterward but my crush still rejected me. Now i live in fear and regret and i pray till i cry my eyes out. I can't go on a day without thinking what i did eventho it is over 6 years since i did. I want to be saved and i want Jesus to be my lord. If someone see my comment,help me please.

Brandon I’ve committed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit I willingly sinned fell into lust knowing it was wrong being mad at god because of my health and being able to get close him.he is now fully disconnected from me and no Holy Spirit with conviction and sorrow,I need someone filled with the spirit to pray to god if he has done with me.i don’t feel like chasing him anymore and want to stay away from him but I’m trying not try give up

To commit the sin, do you have to purposely say it, totally against God, and dont want to be saved? I said that the devil cannot deceive me into thinking I've committed it, and I got scared thinking I said it to the holy Spirit. I also quoted something Jesus said in the Bible "go away evil doers, I don't know you" and I accidentally said Spirit. I didn't mean it and I don't have hate towards Jesus, I prayed to God saying I need to holy Spirit and accidentally said "i don't want it"
What I meant to say was: "I don't want it to leave me" because I want the spirit in me. I prayed and asked for forgiveness and I uttered what I said in prayer, I don't know if that's bad since it's required to confess your sins. I pray out loud. I would never utter something evil to the holy Spirit, knowing who I'm talking to and mean it. Am I okay?

Is calling a person who harmed you the devil considered the unforgivable sin if said in a moment of pain and anguish just focusing strictly on the evil they did to you? Perhaps they also have the Holy Spirit in them as well because obviously no person is the devil himself.

The answer to this is the baptism of the Holy Spirit who will help you in this situation, You can not accoplish anything against the Devil without the Holy Spirit. These thoughts are not yours, they are fiery dirts from the Pits of Hell, you have to go to your pastor/ minister to pray for you to receive the Holy spirit . This has happened to me, I have been tormented by those demons for a long time but now the Lord is delivering me

I prayed to the devil qhen i was 14 and asked him for something in exchange for my soul. I didn't think it was real or that he would ansewr or respond idk what i was thinking but ive been scared that that was blasphemy ofvthe holy spirit ever since. I used to get made fun of a lot i was chubby and ugly and i asked to be skinny and handsome. I am not trying to sound conceited but ive been skinny and good looking ever since and now im scared to death. I wish i was fat and ugly and that i never said that prayer. I believed in God at the time but i let the devil sneak onto my thoughts i feel like such a disgusting human for ever saying that prayer. Is this not blasphemy of the holy spirit. Am i forgoven? Ive begged fir forgiveness many times but it still eats at me on a daily basis.

This is very hard for me to talk about and re-visit. But I was brought up in a Christian home. I fell away from the Lord for a few years. I struggled with cursing, lying, and many other sins and addictions. I used to ignorantly profane and misuse God’s name. It wasn’t until I asked the Lord into my heart and began actually reading the Bible when Jesus changed my life forever. When I first read about the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, I was in FEAR. I was on the verge of having a panic attack. I sometimes tend to have thoughts that I am the only born again believer that has misused God’s Holy name. Deep down, I know I am forgiven, but I am still battling with condemnation. I know the Lord is sanctifying me, and I always carry deep regret for my past sins. But Romans 8:1 says that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I have always had the fear of thinking that I’ve committed the unpardonable sin. But I know that the Holy Spirit leading me to full repentance and GREAT conviction, I know I haven’t. First, I want to give ALL the glory to our amazing God. It is only by His Grace and Mercy that Jesus saved me when I wasn’t even looking for Him. It bothers me to revisit my past sins and my former self that has past away, but I hope that God will use my testimony of His goodness to help anyone who is going through the same trials and seasons. I have always feared the thought of the blasphemy of the holy spirit it was like a constant thing that I struggled with like my mind would think against the spirit put intrusive thoughts and over lap my words I tried so many ways to show it that I haven't cause I still care about a relationship with God I still wanna be repented because for a long time now iv been struggling with lust and thanks to the lord's mighty I feel like I can start again begin a new age of my life to start doing things differently

We all say things out of anger or fear. We may blame God for our trials that we endure. I had worried too about things I said in haste or anger throughout the years. I know I even said I don’t believe or that there is no God in times I was in distress or saw others in distress. Knowing what I know now, I worried I had done myself in. God gave me a heart to hate injustice but not the mind to know what to do about it. I get frustrated and wonder where God is? Now I wonder why people can’t see His presence.

Pastor or whoever reading this comment I want to you sincerely pray for me ask God for intervention in my thoughts and mind. I am suffering severely from this religious ocd which is described in the video. I am a teenager and I didn't tell anyone in my family so please pray. Some extremely good news:
"Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come" (Matthew 12:32).
It sounds like every other sin will be forgiven in this age or the next age. The unforgivable sin may be forgiven in the age after that. (Ephesians 2:7 says there are at least 2 ages to come.)

This sin is committed by somebody who knows the truth and would willfully, maliciously, knowingly, out of a deep rooted disgust and hatred for God and everything todo with him,attribute the things of God to satan! I don’t believe it’s in the words alone but from a reprobate mind and a seared conscience. The person who has reached this state has made the decision to openly go against scripture and call evil good and good evil. I too believe it’s not without God having done all to move by his Spirit on that person to turn there ways!It’s a sin of finality of which the person through there on willfull choice commits it and has not one ounce of care,anxiety, panic attack. They will go on in life deceived and happy. No fear of the afterlife what so ever! Even after Gods precious Spirit wooing them!
