Tractive GPS tracker - everything you need to know in 2 minutes

Hello I just bought this and it’s coming in the mail in a couple days.
My phone that i will be using to connect to the tracker is an old phone that does NOT have a SIM card. The phone does NOT have a phone number, which means it cannot receive calls or text messages. But the phone has access to WiFi internet connection.


My question is, will that phone be able to receive location from the Cat Tracker?

I understand that the tracker itself has a built in sim card, but I don't know if a Phone with No Sim card will connect and work with the tracker.
A response would be SO helpful and i will be very grateful!

does the gps make noise all the time?

The battery doesn’t even last a damn day. Why not make the device a bit bigger so it will hold a decent battery? It’s tracking function isn’t anywhere near the FI collar which also isn’t that great but at least it’s battery lasts a few days anyway
