The Fender has a better tone.
ОтветитьO jass bass fender em sem base . Não tem comparação!
Ответить😮
ОтветитьMusic Man 💪 100
ОтветитьFender has a fatter sound character at low frequencies, a soft middle and high frequencies that are very gentle in ear.
ОтветитьStingray has a powerful bottom part, but too "synthetic" attack. Never liked it...
ОтветитьThe Jazz is deeper and richer; the Musicman is brighter and more middy
ОтветитьFender🎉
Ответитьfor me fender
ОтветитьDamn, I can't believe the fact that I like the jazz better, it's got more of a deep rounded tone; the music man seems to be more mid range and artificial sounding
ОтветитьSeems to me that the music man shines on Fingerstyle the most, I love that growl you get on every single note, and that it cuts thru mixes way better
ОтветитьJazz every day of the week !!!
ОтветитьFor Slap - Fender Marcus Miller 🔥
ОтветитьThe Stingray sounds weird. I wouldn’t want that on a recording. The jazz sounds the way to bass should.
ОтветитьCreo que prefiero el musicman😊
ОтветитьStingray!
ОтветитьGod I'm so tired of slap bass
Ответить😵👍👍👍
ОтветитьJazz bass
ОтветитьFor that iconic slap sound the JB MM for sure! It's so clean, so good. The MusicMan sounds muddier. The finger battle MusicMan could win for the groove. However, for slap that excessive aggression and over compression of MM is not needed. Though, I believe for JB MM you have more balance in the neck, right?
ОтветитьWho won? You won!
ОтветитьWhy do you EQd the Stingray so weird? You know there are tone controls on the Stingray, F*CKING USE THEM! Nevertheless as always world class playing, I can listening for hours to your playing.
ОтветитьI'm on Team Fender here, but this also makes me want to get a Stingray...
ОтветитьMusic man ❤
ОтветитьHaving a a 64" Jazz Fender, I can hear and feel a warmth type sound compared to the Stingray. 🤘🎸
ОтветитьStingray has the reputation as the slappers go to bass so I vote for that
ОтветитьPersonally, I just love the in-your-face tone of the Stingray.
ОтветитьJazz bass won. Sterling Ray 34 sounds better than this Music Man
ОтветитьFender Jazz…….all day, every day, any day……..period! 😎😎
ОтветитьThe mm shines where the jazz is scooped and viceversa
ОтветитьI would like see this comparison with the music man stingray 4h :D
Ответитьwhilst I love the tone of a Stingray, I play a Jazz and that Jazz slap tone has depth more to it, better tone and a lovely ring so Jazz for me. Very nice playing there my man!
Ответитьof course the jazz wins. stingray's sound is so mid focused
ОтветитьI'm just starting to get used to my Sterling 5. I have been playing active Jazz basses dor over three decades. I am surprised how much high frequency information is missing with the stingray compared to my Marcus Miller type of Js. By itself the Jazz sounds so much better. The Stingray is almost dark sounding by comparison. To me the Stingray by itself does not sound very good. Kind of quacky. Not much going on above 4 K it seems, But my experience so far is that the stingray sits in the mix so well that I don't have to turn up as much. It feels punchier and I have more definition.
ОтветитьWell played, my friend. Admire your superb ledt and right hand technique. The fender's subtle dark is exceptional, stingrays brilliant bright is awesome. Both are great instruments. If have to pick one... fender is the clear winner here.
ОтветитьBoth are stunning
ОтветитьIf you role off the tone on the sting ray it will sound like the jazz, but the jazz can never get the stingray sound
ОтветитьJazz by a mile
ОтветитьThe Stingray is basically the same setup as a Fender Precision Bass, which is a more closer comparison. The Jazz base was made for funk, pop and slapping, the Stingray was made for jazz and rock. Both great basses but different purposes.
ОтветитьObviously, my opinion is subject to my taster.
Based on what I heard, the Fender won hands down. It retained the low-end pretty well, while the sting ray sounded pretty tinny. The pop was comparable on both basses. My money is on the Fender.
Strange EQ you had for the Music Man. Mine sounds much more meaty than that - my switch is in parallel while my EQ is bass 100% with mid and treble both at 50%
Ответитьjazz bass !!
ОтветитьIve had both, the stingray is easier for me to to mix because it has less mud and finger attack ”rumble”. As an amateur i take the easiest route cause i just wanna make music
ОтветитьJB 👍👍👍
ОтветитьFender
ОтветитьTo both sounded fantastic and no winner between them it comes down to which sound better on the occasion, which one sounds better on a particular song or the music they are going to be used on.
Ответитьjazz bass good sound for slap but i like stingray character 😊
ОтветитьWhat strings are on the Fender bass ?
ОтветитьMusicman
