As a project manager in ICT I am working with a lot of consultants of ISPs. They are all trying to balance everything like you.
But if you want a really challenge then try to work as an project manager. As a pm your network is growing very very fast because you are working with everyone in your company and other companys 😅 Also the stresslevel is very high because you are responsible for everything and when you miss the deadline without any acceptable reason then may god protect you 😂😂

Genuine question, how can you become a management consultant straight out of college? Doesn't that mean by definition that you have no experience with actual management? I always thought consultants usually spend a few years in a career before becoming consultants for that career.
