How to Factory Reset Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Pro)

i just updated miui 7.3.7 then suddenly lte signal was disappeared from my phone. if i do factory reset it would be turn back my miui to the previous one or will be same with current miui 7.3.7 that i updated? need help

i'm on miui 8 global stable and have trouble in my fingerprint, someone told to factory reset my redmi note 3 snapdragon. My question is:
1. if i doing that is it become MIUI 7 or still MIUI 8?
2. if i doing backup on micro SD card, the factory reset erase my sd card too?
3. is it true i can fix my fingerprint error with that factory reset? because i already feel that on MIUI 7.3.7.0 Global Stable until now using MIUI 8 Global Stable

Hello, I bought my mom the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 for Christmas! Just today something really weird happened, and it's almost like the phone is bricked; the drop-down menu (to turn the GPS, WiFI, etc on and off) didn't work anymore, the previous task button and home button didn't work either...and when I turn it off and on it's stuck in a weird mode where all the apps appear on the screen but when I try to click on any app, it won't open them, it just says, unfortunately, the application has stopped working...and it goes back to the previous screen with all the apps, and if I click Exit, the same happens, it says the application has stopped working. Its worth mentioning that we did not modified anything at all. It had the same ROM that it came with, and it was running the latest update of MIUI 7 for this model I assume (because whenever I clicked on the update button, it said that it was up to date). Please help! I am not very tech savvy and I don't know what to do. >_< .

Unfortunately, there is no Service Center for Xiaomi in my country.
Also, I cannot access the settings or any other menu for that matter. The apps that appear on the screen (it is not the normal home screen) are the only things that I can click on (but not access), whenever I click on anything, it immediately says that the application has stopped working.
How can I do a Factory Reset or Hard Reset without having access to the settings menu?


I should also mention that I did take it to a - let's call it normal phone repair center here in my city, and they said that they had no idea what to do. So they just gave it back how it was. They said that they fiddle around with it for a few hours but couldn't figure out what to do apparently! (It's worth mentioning that they said that they had never seen a Xiaomi Device before).

I've deleted my Mi account, with which I am log in to my phone, by mistake. So the current mi account which is in my phone doesnt exist so I cant log in to it or any other ...its blocked. it factory reset possible even without mi account password ? and is factory reset solution to erase the memory that my phone used to be loged in with this unexisting account ? thanks ;)

this is just a simple normal reset like when you sell your phone. BUT how about a reset while you don't have access to the phone since its password is lost? and keeps telling you to wait 119 minutes.. and logging in with google account and resetting the phone from there does also not work? and finally opening the phone up and connecting the two test points on the back of the PCB just makes the phone reset and boot up with password still active. ? USB connection is not working. i can get the phone into safe mode but no connection can be made. i have other redmi note3 and 152mm version and 4X they all work by this method but just this one redmi note3 pro wont listen to me.
