A BETTER way to move objects in SketchUp #shorts

Until now moving is kind of uncontrolled (me). Often I first draw guide from the to move object corner is to where I want to its landing.

What an obnoxious overlay of the person in the lower corner trying to show how brilliant this idea is.

And to think of all the times I’ve had to zoom in closer and closer to stop the pointer from grabbing the rotate point rather than the centre-point. My day is complete.
