ОтветитьWatching you two always makes me happy. Thanks for that.
ОтветитьI found out why the crown is at 8 o'clock for the Citizen Militare. When one holds a rifle, the left hand bends and the crown in this position does not puncture the hand. I learned this by watching videos about the watches that the NAVY SEALS use: ARES and SANGIN.
ОтветитьWhy no Orients there?
ОтветитьYour logo, the clock, and the patio are all awesome, LI dude.
ОтветитьI would never ever dive in my Rolex. It is a family heirloom and just seems insane to scuba with a 10k+ watch.. even in stainless steel.. Jeez.
ОтветитьMark in the conversation mentioned about a watch co that maybe they were listening to customers because of this or that.. I've neve seen anywhere on any company were a customer could leave a suggestion! I'd like to see Islanders to make a Seiko style diver in 48 to 50mm but like everybody else no one is taking customer suggestions / I wear large watches Citizen makes a 48mm promaster and seiko as well and yes I use them for all occasions
ОтветитьMy Seiko Tuna Solar SRN067P1 is a decent watch for the money. Great video guys, thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьHave you seen the Seiko Prospex Solar Sumo SBPK001 Diver? Its excellent
ОтветитьMark Frankel is correct. Get away from all that expensive crap. Look to what is actually reasonable and realistic for usability. I can just see you doing construction or diving in salt water with a Rolex. not worth it.
ОтветитьSquale is a laugh with their pricing.
ОтветитьLEONARDO!
ОтветитьWhat's the deal on Seestern? They look nice, any good for the money?
ОтветитьI own the Padi blue SNE575 version and the photos don’t do it justice, it’s amazing and I didn’t think I’d love a quartz watch as much as my FlightMaster.
ОтветитьDoesn’t the ny0040 have the 8203 movement which is non-hacking?
ОтветитьHe should’ve said, “My logo was immoRtarized”….big time missed opportunity!
ОтветитьSurprised ther is no helm in ther
ОтветитьIf you have subscribed to this channel then stop doing it
ОтветитьWhen I dived as my hobby in the 80s and early 90s whilst serving in the R.A.F, I wore a Seiko and then a Tudor, but i saw the Italian Issue "Marina Miltare " and wanted one, then Citizen released the Civilian 200M Automatic Model in 1997 and I lusted after the Sunburst blue face Variation in the Citizen catalogue that was a limited release and just impossible to find ..... fast forward 24 years to 2021 and I'd sold my Tudor and had been wearing a Citizen eco prodiver for the last 10 years, then my daughter gave me a Christmas Present she'd bought on Amazon, remembering me talking about watches, she'd spotted a Citizen Sunburst Blue Face Automatic Prodiver, with the hackable Movement...I've matched it with a Blue Nato strap and with the winder at the 8 o'clock position, it is so comfortable .. I've dived with it and it's my daily wear
ОтветитьI wasn’t into dive watches. The other day here I came across this Seiko PADI mini turtle. It was on sale for around 270$. Bobs your mother. Now I have a dive watch. Love it. The quality. Insane value for the money
ОтветитьTGV might have been a tiny bit high during this one.
ОтветитьMatt is Barry Block?
ОтветитьDeep Blue was the first diver. Sapphire crystal, 300m of water resistance. Tad over $100. The gateway drug to my dive watch addition.
ОтветитьThis video just cost me nearly $5,000!
... because, I have to buy one of each diver mentioned now.
what man other than James Bond would go scuba diving in a Rolex?
Ответитьgood to see you Guys doing Reviews together! Cheers from Hamburg
ОтветитьWhat’s about the Citizen Promaster Aqualand JP2000 08E. That’s a affordable divewatch with a long history. Citizen has launched 3 new versions of this divewatch, with the C520 movement, very nice and a good invest.
ОтветитьI gotta thank you guys. I have never heard of Glycine watches but when I watched your video I had to check them out. I am a big dive watch fan and only use quartz watches when I dive, so I'm geared for an inexpensive high-quality quartz dive watch. I bought 2 based on your review (The Combat sub GMT GL1054 and Combat sub GL1013) and I am really impressed with the quality and look of these watches. I just sized both bands and the watches fit and look perfectly on my wrist. Both watches have clean faces, which is another like of mine. Gonna wear one this week and the other next week. I'm pretty excited. I'm looking pretty hard at an Islander as well, but it's currently out of stock. Thanks again!!
ОтветитьWhere is the Casio Duro...?
ОтветитьWould love to see some Aragon watches, their dials and designs are interesting to say the least.
ОтветитьI do forget to thank you both, your collaborations are truly appreciated by here yours truly. Much obliged, and now that I know I’ll keep my eye 👁 out for Islander models. Love the Lorier
ОтветитьCitizen are popular in Italy because it was always easy to find in Italy, unlike Seiko, especially in the diving shops but in malls too.
ОтветитьLove my Cascio Duro's. I have the black face, the blue face and the Pepsi. Love them
ОтветитьGreetings from Blighty! TGV, you really must get the Seiko Prospex Quartz Solar Blue Dial in for review. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьFor me, Casio MW-600 (10 years battery) is the true king.
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьI adore my Phoibos Wave Master, black face with teal and orange hands and numbers, and had hoped Phoibos would make the list. And I’m glad you added a, I don’t want to say real, but modern, dive watch in at the end.
ОтветитьThank you much . I have found several that are EXCELLENT QUALITY.
ОтветитьFun video! I've got a Scurfa Treasure Seeker. With shipping and import it's closer to $650 but I'm very happy with it.
ОтветитьIs the Davosa Ternos Auto any good? I came across this model and it looks well made, or are there better watches for this cost?
ОтветитьI’m watching a month or so later and you guys start talking about the Arnie and I think that’s nice to have someone do a watch about Arnold Palmer. Remember Arnies’ Army? Well, I’m unimpressed and a bit disappointed it’s actually about Schwartzenegger. Oh well.
Thanks for all the great videos solo and with Marc.
I like you guys but this is boring
ОтветитьI´m a finnish man, drunk, eating ice cream at 2:50 am in a friday morning and holy shit this is amazing to watch. The Urgan Gentry is a channel to watch for sure. Love you guys
ОтветитьThe Ny0040 came on bracelets in some incarnations, not super common. That original one had a handful of colors, including full lume. The new fugus have every colorway you can think of, they're larger though.
ОтветитьTo Mark… if Rolex is so tight arse that they won’t let you use the words Oyster and Jubilee, just call them Shellfish and Anniversary bracelets. How petty can a company that gets thousands for their watches be?
ОтветитьGreat video, but way too long!
ОтветитьI, too, bought the same Squale from Island Watches back in 2015 when I first moved to NYC from the UK. Love it still! No re-buys lol.
ОтветитьDang Marc! I just dropped $500 on a deep blue. Thanks.
