Switch Lite is Underrated

I like the video, but the music is a bit too loud compared to your audio

People hate the Switch Lite not me I got the blue one I love it no problems with it if you keep the buttons clean there should be no problem plus a lot of people don’t like to use the TV to play games

A couple more selling points ... The switch lite doesnt have the asemetric color design of the switch. You can get it in really pleasing colors without a high price point. And although it doesnt plug into the tv, this actually makes charging a bit easier.... Since i dont haveto dock it to charge, i cant literally go anywhere with it and use my phone cable to charge.

the joycons wiggeling is actually more anoying than you might think. My right joycon is actually loose enough to slide a few milimeters up when playing in handheld. One might think its a little detail, that doesnt affect the experience, but it actually makes me very nervous. At the end of the day I payed a reasonable amount for my console and can expect it to be a durable item. If you dont have a TV at home the switch light is the best option. I had very few occasions where I played with my friends on my switch. Also the power of the switch in general is not very good, you will probably only notice the power difrence when comparing them side by side. So if you plan on using the switch mainly in handheld buy the light. (but keep in mind that the "switch 2" might be not that far away due to current events)

I have a Switch and a Switch light but I use the light mostly. It’s weightless, and a beautiful coral pink.

The build quality of the regular switch is so bad imo, exactly as you say, it's such a bad feeling knowing you can rip the joycons off while holding it. They also disconnect a lot for no apparent reason in handheld mode. I want a Switch Lite; the feel, build, look and d-pad are so much better than the regular switch. I just can't justify spending so much money unless my joycons are completely unusable.

You forgot to mention stick drift whip can’t be changed.

Can you make an update video when you catch the joysticks on your pants pocket and break it? Never had that issue on the psp go and I could still connect it on the TV and use a ps3 controller.

The fucking PSP Go did a better job at being a switch than the switch lite and it was even smaller than the DS much less the PSP.

I had to buy a second Nintendo switch lite because the charger broke, but I haven't had the same problem on the oled

Would love to have a cheaper Switch that you only use with a TV. Personally I dont wanna use the handheld mode but would love to play the games at home.

I've had a switch for a while and the sliding joycons are precisely why I don't enjoy it in handheld mode I've genuinely considered buying a light in addition to my switch purely for the handheld experience

no tv docking is a dealbreaker for me

Honestly, aside from the drift, ( sure you can replace it by taking it apart, but having to do that every so and so months is quite annoying.) I loved it.

during covid i bought a second hand switch for $200 with animal crossing best desition of my life (i am now addicted to splatoon god help me)

No, I shouldn’t buy one. My Switch always stays docked. If I’m not in front of the TV or PC, it means I’m doing something else. You don’t need to be gaming 24/7.
