Classic Wrath Healer Ranking Tier List - What is the Best Healer?

Resto Shaman definitely needs to be ranked in A. I don't even play one, but iam the most excited when i see one healing with me.

My guilds raid healing comp for 25 man is 2 Hpal, 1 disc priest, and 1 resto druid.

Resto druids are poop in the naxx era. A druid is going to do much worse in OS3 then a Shaman

Gaurdian Spirit is an amazing spell. As a healer you know when someone is going to die. You can feel it getting out of control. Slap that on a tank and heal the raid. When you know tanks will be getting stunned. When those mob are running directly for you cause you healed befor tank gets aggro because he just switched from ret to prot and forgot about RF. Lol plenty o uses. Its basically a better rebirth cause you dont have to rebuff. Imo.

I'm maining a resto druid, looking for info for an alt.
Great times all around, Everone, me included Loves revitalize, flight form is awesome - i wont pick holy paladin because i really Enjoy finding out, noone beats me on raw healing on Sapphiron (or dispels, but thats another story), or that im forever sadge on fights like Loatheb.. Learning when the damage happens.
Shamans look hella cool, i like having lots of utility, noone ever complained about a well placed tremor totem.

Any spec you have to take to defeat the prime boss, aka DISC for Lich King needs to be S tier. Disc being required makes it top tier

My main character in WotLK Classic will be my Priest (dual-spec Shadow & a 38H/33D custom healing spec that interests me). My Restoration Shaman was my main in TBC Classic, & if I level any alt in WotLK it will be her (dual-spec Restoration & Elemental). I don't like being a Tree (or a Moonkin), so Druid is a no-go for me. Holy Paladins finally get some traction in WotLK, but their dual-spec options (& completely different gear set requirements) don't appeal to me.

Rest shaman is truly poorly used in WoTLK. Not because they their weak but people simply play them poorly. They are by far the best mix but great to have. Druid is my main throughout WOW and in WOTLK resto Shaman wax my second favorite to ever play.

It really is all about the user.

Holy priests can top the healing if they are good, they are just way harder than the other healers and also have many specs around Holy talents. Probably the Best healer for valanyr too becausr their healing is really strong and their prayer can put the shield on 5 targets. Tho I don't recomend it because people are jerks that won't bring You to raids and is too much work... They are like the Warriors, they need too much gear to really shine.

What is the point of having S tier rank if none of the healers are S tier. Same goes for C and D.
The best healer is S tier, and the worst healer is D.
Having them all at A and B makes no sense scale wise.

Well we do have a program one of our smart healers put together that queries the Warcraft Logs API and looks for instances where people got a heal 1-2 seconds before receiving what would have been fatal damage.

Interestingly we had a Druid / Priest / Shaman as our top 3 for the past week.

You are so right about healing logs contra skill. Healer parsing don't equal how good you are at doing your job at keeping people alive.

I don't get why rdruid is generally considered to be better than Hpriest. Their toolkit is nearly identical, I'd even give the edge to the priest:
Rejuv = Renewal
CoH = Wild growth
Divine Hymn = Tranq
Hymn of Hope = Innervate
Thats the bread and butter and it's almost exactly equal.
Guardian Spirit is a way stronger CD than Nature Swiftness
PoM, PoH > Lifebloom, Regrowth (in raids the additional AoE will have greater value than tank heal if you have dedicated Hpallys)
Now the extras:
Druid: Battlerez, Stat buff
Priest: Stam buff, Willp buff, Preshields, Speedshield(overpowered on some encounters), Inspiration, Shadow fiend, Keep healing 15 second after death. Well of Light for the probably most insane heal value per mana/gcd in the entire game (requires average raid IQ of 80+) .

In my eyes it's Hpriest all the way and I don't know what it is. Either people have never seen a decent Hpriest or all Hpriest got talked into switching to Disc.
